chapter 56: Faro's trump card
Since the earth element is cancelled out by the plant element faro was now in a pinch -did not think I would have to use my trump card so...- Faro's thoughts were disturbed by the appearance of 5 new auras on the battle field , and these were auras he knew very well
" Faro lad you seen to be having trouble with this foul Konqueror, can we be of assistance?"
"He does seem like he has some strengrh in him"
"So what ?we have killed worse before." Five people in black cloaks with hoodies covering their faces appeared in the middle of the two massive attacks , using the breath to amplify their voices amidst the noise from the tempest and the rapidly advancing forest
"You sure took your time ...blades." Faro spoke his eyes still focused on zenoki who he was approaching rapidly in the middle of the tempest
"Evacuating the whole capital is not an easy job lad ..and we are no longer blades faro" one of the people in black spoke
"Oh , but what about the army ? General Sedrigus? What are they doing??!" Faro asked with the distance between him and zenoki getting shorter
"We will talk later , right now we are surrounded by many enemies numbering in the thousands "
"Bu..but I destroyed them all in the canyon!" Faro's gaze towards zenoki deepened
"Well I'm picking up thousands of breath signatures about three thousand yards away but they seem to be using an artifact that hides their breath signatures , if it was not for me being a sensory type Konqueror I would not have noticed them.....and there are also two peak soul tree Konquerors breath signatures about a thousand yards away , I'm guessing they are doom generals?" Harmonia asked at the end of her explanation
"Yes respectively named Holt and Esther , one has a deviant lightning elemental soul and the other has a darkness elemental soul" faro explained
"You disrespect me by talking to your allies in the middle of our battle Faro !!!!" Zenoki called out , then ...
"Booooooooooooooooooom " the tempest and the Doomed forest collided , heavy sand hail fell from the sky all aimed towards zenoki but with a quick flick of his hand vines rose up from the ground shielding him from the hail attack
The tempest tore at the vines and trees emerging from the ground but it didn't make a difference as the vines kept attacking , their aim was faro who was in the middle of it all protected by a tornado , the viness and roots could not touch him at all for they would get shredded the minute they got too close
Zenoki just stood on top of a giant vine whilst controlling the rest with his hands , at the flick of his hand the vines went after the former blades who had moved before the collision
"Zenoki is it? Leader of the blood brothers ...you have been such a thorn to the kingdom , destroying four of our cities in a short span of time and also turning the residents into blood creatures all for what? What is this huge vendetta you have against Zebha"harmonia asked as she evaded the vines , each of her movements graceful and elegant
"..." Zenoki didn't respond and continued controlling the plants
Dust covered all of them with faro still going for zenoki with his giant tornado that was destroying everything in it's path , the former blades were having a hard time evading zenoki's vines that were getting faster by the second , with the cloud of dust obstructing their vision the was nothing they could do other than evading , only Harmonia seemed to be having it easy because of her sensory abilities
"Faro do it !" Harmonia called out
Faro heard Harmonia's cry " Runes sees and Runes record , elemental binding : crystalline shards" green flames erupted from one half of his body and sand swirled around the other half. Earth and fire , the two elements mixed and faro was left with a forest green aura but that wasn't the major change that happened. His tornado was now forest green with green flames roaring in it even the cloud of dust covering them was now forest green , the sand hail now packed much power and it managed to to break past zenoki's shield grazing him on his mask . Zenoki dodged another round of hail before noticing the change
"Huh?! Crystals? You are a genius faro , I heard rumors of you bearing a dual elemental soul but It turns out the rumors are not baseless but they failed to mention that you are the bearer of a deviant element !" Zenoki's loud voice was laced with excitement as he dodged the crystalline shards that fell from the sky
His plants were now powerless against faro since fire cancelled out plants , the whole tempest was now covered in roaring green flames rapidly consuming zenoki's doomed forest
Beneath the mask was a calm face that had a smile on it -i have seen enough Faro it's time for us to leave , He is waiting for us- zenoki thought to himself

The great unholy , the blasphemous helper
Rot of the underworld ...let this forest be filled with blood" nothing happened but they all heard zenoki's incantation , and this lack of reaction gave an ominous feeling foreboding a great danger .
Harmonia was still busy evading the endless vines but she was much more relaxed since she could sense them coming , all of her movements relaxed and graceful evading the vines with little movements
- why hasn't there been any reaction to his incantation?- Harmonia thought to herself whilst maneuvering through endless vines , amidst her relaxed movements a vine tore straight through her torso so fast she didn't even see it coming
"Blurg* "she coughed out blood as her body fell down to the ground with a thud
"Harmonia!!!!!!!!" Faro screamed
The other former blades looked towards their captain after hearing Faro's cry , shock could be seen in their eyes but those few seconds of shock was enough for zenoki to capitalize on and they to met the same fate as their leader . Coughing up blood before falling to the ground with a holes in their bodies , they didn't even get time to check on their captain before their lives were extinguished .
"You made such an entrance but you had no impact at all in this battle , you came here to die. You don't even know how you died , how pitiful " zenoki's voice echoed in Faro's ears
"Harmonia ? Damnit you !!! You are going to payyy!"
