CHAPTER 7

JUNE'S POV

We finally returned from lunch and I went to my office to continue the work on my desk. I could help but picture his face and his smile. I remembered how he told jokes that made me and Avery laugh so hard.

I don't want to think I am in love with him but more like I am attracted to him. Yes! definitely just attraction and nothing much, like come on have you seen the guy? He's every girls' dream guy.

I had to will myself to stop myself from thinking about him and concentrate on the work on my desk.

I had to complete the designs. They had a new product coming out in a month's time and I had to make flyers, jingles and short video ads for the product launch. I wanted to create and ad that will catch and retain the consumers' attention.

"Hey" I heard his rich baritone voice. I immediately looked up and then tried to comport myself. "Hi" I replied him surprising myself by how quickly I found my voice.

"Is there anything I can help you with" he asked me

"What?"

"Like, I am an intern and am here in order to work as well as gain experience" he replied me

"Okay, I understand now. Well we have a new product coming out in one month and I am supposed to create ads for the product launch, I could use some ideas" I said

"Okay, sure. What's the product and who are the target consumers?" I asked

"Well it's a product for kids and I was thinking we could make the jingle something catchy that will get the attention of the kids. How does that sound?" I asked

" That's absolutely brilliant. I was also thinking the same thing" he said

" As they say like minds think alike" I said with an easy laugh.

The rest of the day went on with us exchanging ideas and creating the ad. He showed me new ways of doing so basic designs and I also showed him some tricks when designing. I most way that he is not just a pretty face but also has brains. "And you're a sucker for brilliant pretty faced guys" my inner voice reminded me

"Well that's true and that explains the attraction but not necessarily mean am in love with him? Right?"

"I can't believe he said that" I asked laughing really hard as he narrated a story that happened to him in college.

"I wanted to thank you for earlier, I can't believe I got us lost in my thoughts. I don't know what got into me" I said with alot of gratitude evident in my voice

"It was not a problem but I want you to be careful and not get carried away with your thoughts" He said and I saw concern in his eyes

"Yeah" I replied and we just stared at each other as we lapsed into silence.

"Hello" I heard Avery say and I was glad she came because the silence was getting awkward.

"Do you guys have any dinner plans" Matthew asked

"We were going to this new restaurant we recently just discovered. Do you care to join us" Avery was quick to reply as usual.

"I don't mind" He replied easily.

"Okay then, I am going to book us a ride to the restaurant" Avery said as
