Veronica POV

"No she won't. She is only 10." Gabriel says. Zax growls at him not liking the idea of me leaving.

"I'm sixteen!" I growl. "Gabriel, I'm not a little girl anymore." I say annoyed. He rolls his eyes at me, and I look to Zax. "I'm sorry about them. Let's go." I say taking his hand.

"What are we going to tell mom and dad?" Caiden asks. I huff out annoyed before looking back to them.

"Tell them I found my mate and we will visit soon." I say. They reluctantly nod their heads before shifting and running off back home.

"Are you sure you want to stay?" My mate asks. I turn to him and hug him tightly.

"Yes. I'm not leaving my mate behind." I say truthfully. He grins and kisses my cheek. I blush grinning at him before I kiss his cheek.

"Come on let's go. It's time to get you cleaned up and your own clothes." Zax says. I laugh hitting him lightly. We head back hand in hand and I can't wait to spend my future with him.
