'Typical Asian Parents thing?' I asked with a smile and he smiled back.

That reminded me of my mother, she's been on the back for a year now asking me to think about getting married!!!

But Ghosh… He's got a charming smile and his dimples made a peek-a-boo appearance in those 10 seconds.

Lemme tell you…. Sitting in front of a Man, you've been hardly crushing over for 3 years and not losing your cool is extremely difficult... no matter how good you are at hiding it.

But I guess I'm doing a good job at masking it!!

Of course, he's all been cheeky and cool since we met but that's just how he portrays himself in front of people, I want to know the secrets of those phoenix eyes!!

Also, I'm still wondering "why me?" what do I have actually to do in all this? Just get married to him? No right… this can't be this simple. And I can't get married right now… I already have so much on my plate right now... I need to expose Sabrina, prove my innocence, take my revenge, and get my dignity and respect back in the industry.

And not to forget, I have a lawsuit to fight and my dear little cousin still wants me dead.

She's been looking at me for 10 mins, looks like she's lost in thoughts!! I waved my hand in front of her, no response.

So, I called her name and she finally looked at me again blinking those hazel brown eyes.

So, what do you think? I asked her.

'Well, I still don't see the point why me?' You can find many people like me in the industry, probably better than me.' She said

'Other people aren't you.' I wanted to tell her but kept it to myself. Now is not the right time.

'Because I like you.'

She replied with a smirk, obviously not believing me and it was totally fine.

'Where's the contract? What are the terms and conditions? For how long do we have to be married?' she bombarded me with questions and I was confused, to say the least!

'What contract? And what do you mean by how long do we have to be married?' I asked her.

'Marriage contract?' You didn't prepare one yet?' Well, all those heroes in romance novels keep one ready for the proposals!' she spoke making me more confused!!

'Romance novels… marriage contract?' Does she think I'm proposing a contract marriage to her?

'Don't tell me, you are proposing to me for a real marriage.' She spoke looking me in the eyes.

When I didn't reply to that absurd question, her expression changed from calm to shock... in 10 seconds… making me smile.

'I see.' she said and took a deep breath before returning to her calm demeanor.

'I will think about it and if that's all… for tonight, I will take my leave now.' She said standing up from her chair.

She had only taken a few steps when I spoke, 'I can help you with your revenge plan.'

She paused in her steps, 'and your lawsuit' I spoke again.
