Emma Turner was engrossed in typing when her secretary, Cindy Smith, entered with a cup of coffee, accidentally spilling it on Emma. Angered, Emma delivered a deafening slap, and Cindy, anticipating consequences, apologized. True to her word, Emma fired her.

Summoning her manager, Mr. James, Emma swiftly arranged for a job vacancy, then left her office. While engrossed in her phone, she collided with a handsome young man, Alex Manchester, creating a stir in the company.

Murmurs spread:

🗣️: "He bumped into Miss Emma; he's in trouble."

👥: "I feel pity for him."

Lost in Alex's handsome features, Emma was nudged back to reality by Mr. James. Alex, fearing the worst, apologized, but Emma was too captivated to respond immediately.

Clearing her throat, she walked away, leaving Alex relieved. Pursuing her to the elevator, Alex handed her something, panting. "Miss Emma," he shouted as the door almost closed, prompting Mr. James to intervene.

Alex entered, and as the elevator doors closed, he sighed in relief, Miss I forgot to give you this. He said giving her a file

Ohh... thanks Mr James said as he collected the file from him.

Alex cleared his throat and Miss Emma, ma'am can I ride the elevator with you I am also going for the meeting immediately Miss Emma agreed to his request. At intervals she would steal glances at him .
