Chapter 6 - Preparation

A week after Desire Games debuted on the planet. Many things were changing at this time, and it was difficult to tell whether they were for the better or the worst.

It leads people to buy in a frenzy. The world's governments met to discuss the Desire Games.

The specifics of the alleged meeting were kept from the general public.

But one thing is certain: virtually the entire government is seeking Desire Game Gamers.

They will do whatever they want. Crime rates are rising, and there are more deaths.

It was fortunate that if some gamers were motivated to do crimes, there would equally be gamers who attempted to be heroes.

Alex had been debating what to do for days. He has already contacted his family, who are all safe.

The reason it was nighttime on the scale of the world where his family stayed was made up.

He was fortunate to work the graveyard shift. So he was awake on that particular day.

Alex was perusing his Wish List. After a week, he can select one.

He stopped participating in athletics when he got to university to concentrate on his education. He was too preoccupied with applying for jobs and working when he graduated.

Alex is getting his bike ready. He was fortunate that his younger brother had purchased a bike and had left it in his apartment.

And his younger sibling was either too lazy or too busy to return it. So Alex brags until his younger brother picks up the bike. He will be the bike's interim owner.

Alex can ride a bicycle at the beginner level. His issue is that he lacks the endurance to ride a bicycle up and down a slope.

So he resolved to prepare for his anxieties. He needs to give it a shot before the first game begins.
