The Encounter

Serena was processing things faster than ever.

She was too occupied for listening to the troubles of the old lady, the owner of the medical store she entered, who was babbling about a witch who had run away out of fear from the great hero of capital, The Grand Duke Elair.

Serena knew...that was not the case. Rumours have twisted and changed with time.

She had never met the Grand Duke in any of her lives.

She had set the small village, which was at the border of the capital, into flames and drawn monsters..while people evacuated she stayed..no was left behind or at least that's how she originally intended the rumours to turn out.

But now there were other things than some pretty rumours in this world...She had been gladiator tournament's winner straight 2 years.

Things seemed to get boring just when she was sent an invitation to meet at an old medical shop by the side of a stream just below the 'red star'.

Serena was captivated the second she had seen that letter it was enchanted with magic. She couldn't believe someone sent something like that . It was shitty .a cheap trick... She could have died touching that letter. Obviously anyone who had died 8 times wouldn't fall for that she thought. That letter was as here:

dear lady Serena,

Apologies for the rude welcome, but it's not as dangerous for as as it seems to you.

We rather give you a heart full congratulations on

becoming a new player of "The descendants Tournament"!

Let me warn you, this isn't a mere game, its the thread of life and death.

You has been confirmed to be a special breed of siren and dragon a "sidra" has the topmost VIP

entry to this game.

Your strength will be underestimated in human world.

Unpleasantly lavish and ignorant creatures.

those humans, they have a foul smell coming off them. It is miraculous to watch them they love and betray, not different from us. Its funny how they act mighty when they have no superpower.

One person in hierarchy rules the world. 'VILE'.

However, You may decline this invitation as well as accept by meeting at the given address at the given time.

There You will know more of this game.

Remember 'you' are a precious jewel...

yours cunningly,

messenger chimerion.

P.S: you look beautiful...

What...a scorpion which was staring at her for a long time, bit her hand. It seemed to have come from that letter.

It surprisingly hurt a lot. On her skin appear an address and an outdated fashion of representing time.

The old lady kept blabbering about the duke.

Serena was annoyed. It wasn't surprising as the territory belonged to the Dukedom. The legend that it was cursed and the Duke lifted it by fighting a dragon...

Serena wondered if that was also a bluff.

Dragons, demons, devils, sirens, chhuppacabras, were treated as great divine or devilish mythical beings that only appeared as seldom as in fairy tales. Even more divine gods and Angels were imaginary. But,...there was a realm that had only these creatures ruled in proper order by a divine king. It was like the homeland of the gods and other creatures. Of course Serena had known this. In fact she didn't know every ounce of it. She had never been there.

But the contents of the letter clearly mocked and showed its complacency towards humans human. Which gave off that it's from the

conjuring realm.

Serena's mother was banished from there as a criminal ripped off her authority too when first came to the human world-similar things happened to Serena like her mother, murders everywhere as if she were the obvious murderer.

But Serena had a card this time. Whatever did they understand...Serena was not a 'sidra' no..she wasn't a breed. She was pure blood. So secretive and mighty that a low life like the messenger would absolutely be unaware of.

She Smirked like she had everything playing on her hands ready for her..her eyes glowed darkened with a fluorescent glaze

"dangle"

A man appeared.

He was heavily dressed though it was just autumn covered his face entirely especially the ears only projecting his eyes and dark black hair..

He had blue eyes but unlike Serena it was lighter in color.

He stood. He looked tall. handsome. But something was off.

The tip of his ears showed...looked like a...

horn. no. He was a goblin.

Serena pulled him away out of the door and near the stream. it was getting dark. They stood opposite to each other on the bank of the rushing water. For some reason Serena looked flushed.

Maybe because it was her first time meeting a goblin.

He reached out his and for a shake.Serena knew it was a trap to blow her hand off.

"If u don't take that hand away I will sneak it on your own face."

"oh, my I didn't mean it. I just wanted to test my master.!" her sweated.

Obviously he felt Serena's overwhelming power.

"So, shall we start?"
