The system

<p>Bethany and Beatrice seeing as how he was badly wounded as blood was pouring out from the wound in his back and soaking his clothes, they both quickly supported him so as to rest.<br/><br/>Knowing at it was night and they wouldn't be able to see any healer at this time or place, they decided to tend to the wound themselves.<br/><br/>Removing his top and seeing the wound, they knew they wouldn't be able to do anything as it was too big for them to handle.<br/><br/>"Why, why does this have to happen to us, from one person to another, why can't we just leave our life freely" cried Beatrice as she hold her brother.<br/><br/>"Don't worry I'm okay, I wouldn't die here" said Owen as he weakly raise his hand to clean the tears running down from his sister eyes. "Seems like I have cause the both of you so much pain, I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough".<br/><br/>Supporting him towards the mountain end, they drop him there so he wouldn't have to continue standing and stress himself.<br/><br/>Bethany tearing one of her clothes and using it as a piece of materials, she tie the wound so he wouldn't lose much blood.<br/><br/>Even with the wound being tie up, it didn't take long before the piece of material completely soaked itself with his blood.<br/><br/>"Beatrice you have to go check if there's still any guard at the entrance of the mountain so we can leave if there's non" said Bethany.<br/><br/>Seeing as he was losing too much blood, Bethany know that he won't be able to make it to the next morning so they would have to leave now for him to make it.<br/><br/>Leaving the mountain was one, finding a healer to tend to him at this hour was another. Not having any herbs to apply to the wound to stop the bleeding was also another problem.<br/><br/>Reeking her brain for a probability for him to make it alive, Bethany wasn't getting anyone, but she continue thinking as she couldn't let her child die before her eyes.<br/><br/>"No don't, I will be fine, don't risk your life for me, I'm okay" said Owen weakly as he try to stop his sister from going, but was unable to.<br/><br/>"I understand mom" said Beatrice as she neglected the words of Owen and quickly get on one of the horse and sprinted to the entrance.<br/><br/>Knowing that if they were to go out of the mountain now and some of the guards was still alive and was waiting for them, then it will be troublesome as they won't be able to fight them off while protecting Owen.<br/><br/>Therefore going to check first was a better suggestion than going out blindly to their death.<br/><br/>Seeing the condition Owen was in, Bethany couldn't help but cry out in pain as she herself has also been in this type of condition and it wasn't something she would like to experience again neither does she want it for her son.<br/><br/>'If I was to die here, then I only have one regret, that is, not being able to kill you for everything you cost us' said Owen inwardly.<br/><br/>Resting his wounded back on the mountain, suddenly the mountain glow orange the moment his blood touch it.<br/><br/>Beatrice who was riding with full speed and tears in her eyes towards the entrance of the mountain quickly turned back as she could see the glowing light shining from the position of where she just left.<br/><br/>Thinking that her brother and her mom was being attack, she quickly kick the horse, causing in to go faster.<br/><br/>Owen on turning to look at the mountain, he could see it glowing. Stretching his hand to touch the glow, he was surprised to see his hand pass through it.<br/><br/>"What's this?" Asked Owen as he turned to look at his mother but was unable to as the light seems to be pulling him in.<br/><br/>Letting himself get pulled into the glowing mountain as he couldn't push himself out, he saw himself in a cave illuminated bright orange with a pendant floating in the air.<br/><br/>"What's this place?" Asked Owen to himself as he knew he was the only one in the cave.<br/><br/>His body seems to move on his own as he saw himself walking forward towards the floating pendant like if being control.<br/><br/>Raising his hands and stretching it towards the pendant, it move slightly as if being attracted to him.<br/><br/>With the blood in his shoulder dripping to his hand, he hold the pendant and it suddenly started emitting a blinding light as it shake uncontrollably.<br/><br/>Owen on seeing this, he try to let go of it but was unable to as it continue emitting a bright light making him squint his eyes to prevent them from getting blind.<br/><br/>Suddenly the pendant in his hand exploded to small particle of light which now have him surrounded.<br/><br/>With the light shining all over his body, he felt an intense pain like if being burn alive as his body started to absorb the light around him until it completely diminish.<br/><br/>After finish absorbing the light from the pendant, he felt his vision starting to fade as his body fall to the ground.<br/><br/>But just before he passed out, there was a single message he saw written on his vision which made him struggle to stay awake for some seconds.<br/><br/> read Owen before he fell unconscious.<br/><br/>"What happened here mom?" Asked Beatrice the moment she rode back and could see Owen lying unconscious on the floor and confusion being on the face of her mother.<br/><br/>'What's this?' Asked Beatrice as she look at the spot where the injury was present not too long ago but couldn't see it anymore.<br/><br/>*******<br/><br/>Thanks very much for reading.
