With their mom taking a breather, Owen and Beatrice eyes were looking at her without diverting, the anticipation in their eyes for her to continue the story was enough to tell her to continue.

Even though the both of them wanted to ask questions so badly, they control themselves as they knew they can't distract her when she has finally decided to open up.

A one minute wait seems to be a whole day in their eyes as they held their breath for her to continue the story.

'Mom please continue, you can't just stop and leave us in the dark after finally revealing some things to us, you are killing me' said Owen inwardly as he knew he can't say it out loud.

'Mom come on, haven't you still catch your breath for the last three hours now' said Beatrice inwardly even though she knew her timing wasn't correct.

After finish taking her breather, she close her eyes before opening them so as to continue.

"The moment we all received the strange message in our head, your dad quickly started panicking as he instructed me to go inside the mansion".

"On our way to the mansion, we look up only to see people falling out from the sky and descending on us, but the moment they were about to hit the ground, the strangest thing happen as the earth rose up to catch them so they can land perfectly".

"No words was said as they quickly started killing us without hesitation, the scary part was that they don't use weapons, but have strange powers. Humans controlling fire, water, earth and such was unheard of and that was what the ten people were doing as they burn us to crease" said Bethany.

"Seeing as the kingdom was in trouble, my father and the other leader quickly jump into action as they try their best to kill the being known as encranoes, but was unable to, leading to the death of hundreds of people in our kingdom, and it wasn't only happening in our kingdom as other kingdom was being attack also".

"After getting to the mansion with your father, I pleaded with him as I knew he was the only person I could relied on to protect my father, telling me to go inside, he took the dual sword I bought for him and sprinted toward where the fight was taking place".

"With your father being there, he took care of everything and killed the ten encranoes, leading to the survival of the kingdom, but that's when I finally learn of your dad secret as he was one of them".

"Your father was an encranoe, not only an encranoe, but a king to them, but he wasn't with them anymore therefore not knowing that the new king wanted to kill us, with this information I learned, I was disheartened as your father lie to me" said Bethany as tears pour out of her eyes.

Owen and Beatrice seeing her, they wanted to console her, but they stop themselves as she have to let the feeling pour out so she can continue the past.

Cleaning the tears from her eyes and composing herself, she continue the story as she saw the pain in her children face.

"Your father has to stop the encranoes as they weren't from this world but another, so he went his way after dropping one of his swords and telling me all I needed to know even though I hated him and wish him dead".

"With your father not being from this world, I'm sure he has gone back to his world after fighting and saving us".

"Even though your father was a wise man, he didn't think it through as he was in a haste to put a stop to the invasion thereby vanishing in front of everyone leading to them knowing that he was one of them".

"Those that survive the attack were shocked as they haven't seen people like that once, thereby calling them demons as only demons could perform such things".

"After about a week time after the attack, I discovered I was pregnant with you two, I couldn't tell anyone as I know they would kill me for carrying a demon child, so I stayed indoor till you two was born".

"With my father dead and me being the wife of a demon who attacked the human, everyone turned on me and try to kill me, leading to the attacks on the Bucadox clan, but for some reason which I don't know, they weren't able to attack us until recently".

"Maybe they do think that your father was still around, but after some years, we started receiving constant attack from the different clan".

"They didn't even consider the fact that your father save the live of all of them by killing his fellow, but instead they all add him to the categories of demons as he was also one of them".

"With the constant attack on the clan, some of people run away, others were killed while few that was loyal to my father stayed, but was also killed at last".

"The former king of this kingdom was killed in the attack, leading to his nephew being current king of Pekresh kingdom, even though he is kind, he couldn't do anything about the attack we were facing as he was young and his hands was tie by the leaders of the other clan".

"Me being sent to this kingdom to bring provision is more like a punishment than a service, because as a leader I'm not suppose to do that type of work".

"I'm sorry to tell you this, that's why I said you weren't ready, I'm sorry Owen and Beatrice, I'm sorry for not being a good mother" said Bethany as tears pour out of her eyes.

"I'm really sorry Owen and Beatrice, please forgive me, that's the reason I don't want you guys going out of the mansion on your own".

"This kingdom also face the same fate as ours, but it was completely ruined unlike ours which was partially destroyed, that's why it isn't a good place to live and show your identity, it will lead to us getting killed".

"I did what I did to protect you two, I can't let you two get attacked that's why I was against you two going out, I'm sorry" said Bethany as she continue breaking down.
