The outcome

The moment the guards saw the speed Savarus use to knock out their member, some was already shaking with fear, but they dare not show it out, the only thing keeping some of them from running is their number and their fear of Catherine.

"Didn't you hear what she said, attack him at once and I mean now" said Catherine making some of them to come back to their senses .

"Well I can see that you guys have clearly made up your mind" said Savarus while going for an attack, this time around, he was being the aggressor.

'Why didn't he surrender when he know he is clearly outnumbered, is he that confident in himself, this is really interesting' thinked Catherine.

Savarus was currently moving like the wind, slashing anything that comes in his way but making sure not to slash too deep to prevent death, he was swinging the sword like if it was made of paper.

The guards couldn't even have the time to defend themselves before the sword would slash off their arms, he was just too fast for them to see his movement. After about three minutes of the same routine, the guards have lessen in number, the look on the rest of their faces where horrific.

Savarus didn't even help in lessening the horrific scene, because his sword, clothes and face has been stain with blood, he was just standing like a devil waiting to catch his prey.

"I'm a merciful person, so I will give you all a chance once again, if you want to leave, you are free to go but if you insist on going against me, your fate is already been decided" said Savarus.

Catherine was completely lost, she is dumbfounded about the situation.

'So you weren't lying at all when you said it's should be up to fifty men, this guy is definitely not human, because if he was he would have clearly been out of breathe by now.

"Times up, what is your answer" asked Savarus.

Without being told all the guards know they have to make their choice now, the first person to make his decision was a young boy.

"I plead my loyalty to the Abaric clan, so I won't desert them when in times of danger" said the boy while gripping his sword tightly.

The word of the young boy motivated all of them, those who were trying to leave before change their mind, they definitely know what the Abaric clan has done for them.

"Very well, let's continue" said Savarus.

He didn't wait for them to get ready before rushing into their mist and slashing them like if he was playing games with watermelon, he was like a spinning wheel dodging everything coming his way and using it to his advantage. Not too long after the second round of fighting about twelve more people has joined the ones on the floor.

"Enough" shouted Bethany who was looking at the scene with frustration, at once the fighting came to a stop.

Bethany walked to where Savarus was currently standing, and raise her hand, about to give him a slap.

At the eyes of Savarus the hand was moving at a very slow pace to his face, which he held in place before it could touch his cheek.

"How dare you touch me with your filthy hand" said Bethany.

"How bold of you to try and slap me, there might me consequences if you don't take your time" said Savarus while looking at the sword, the tension was so high around them that their stare looks like it could cause harm.

"What is going on here" said a voice which suddenly cause everybody to be in a standstill apart from Savarus, after some minutes of no one replying. The woman went straight to Catherine.

"What is the meaning of all this" asked the woman which cause Catherine to flinch.

"I demand an answer from you now".

"Mum, I" just as she was about to reply, an unexpected voice which nobody think would ever say anything in this matter interrupted her.

"I'm really sorry about the trouble I have caused you" said Savarus.

The woman just look at him up and down before she asked him a question.

"Who the hell are you and what do you mean by you are the cause of everything" demanded the woman in a commanding tone.

"My name is Savarus, a friend to miss Bethany and also her appointed guard" replied Savarus in a casual tone.

The woman just look at Bethany who was wearing her clan armour and turn back to face Savarus.

"I want you to elaborate more on the part that you are the cause of all this" said the woman pointing at the guards who were lying on the floor rolling in pain.

"As you you know quite well, a guard need his sword to be able to protect his people, but I was told to leave my sword at the gate which I didn't comply" explained Savarus.

"Do you think I'm a kid you could lie to, Incase you don't know, I'm the leader of the Abaric clan, so don't think you can lie your way through I can see right through you and your lies".

"Well I won't fault you for not believing me, I won't believe either, if I were in your shoes ".

"Catherine I want to hear it from you, what really happened over here".

"Mum, he has told you already, that's what happened, I have no choice but to bring out the guards to throw him out but he didn't agree and insist on staying with his sword".

"Very well, if that's what you said happened, I would leave it at that, but remember I'm your mother and I clearly know if you are lying to me" she said while turning to face Bethany.

"Bethany I know you won't lie to me, so I will ask you this question, is it true, what both of them have said".

Bethany was shaking, her heart beating so loudly that Savarus was able to hear it, after some time she could feel someone holding her hand, when she look up she could see Savarus, showing her a warm smile filled with confident.

"It's the truth" replied Bethany.
