Chapter 28 The Wedding

Rio came in and saw a baby wrapped in a blanket. He was already walking at 9 months. "Baby." "That's right Rio. His name is Seth. He is your baby brother." "Baby broder." Since he couldn't say brother. He gently touched Seth's head. "Do you want to hold him?" "Yes." "Ok sit down on the couch." Said Hazel. Then he climbed up and sat down. Hazel helped him hold the baby. "Baby broder. I big broder. I potect you." "Aww so sweet." I said.

A few days later we were able to go home with the baby just to get him settled for a month. Then they had to leave to be safe.

Finally a few days later, it was time for the wedding. I cleaned up did my hair. Kira was my maid of honor. She helped me do my make up and hair. Also helped me get my dress on. Dad and Uria didn't want maids of honor or brides made kind of things. "Ok you are ready. Now lets check on the other bride." Said Kira. "Oh my Uria. You look gorgeous. You look 20 years younger." "Oh you sweet thing. Thank you. Is Zuri ready?" "Yes. You two are going to walk down the isle. Kade is going to hold both our hands." "Ok shall we go?" "Yes lets go make ourselves brides." I said. Then we started walking down the isle after the brides maids finished.

Then the music came on and everyone stood. Then we slowly started walking. I saw dad and Hazel crying by how beautiful we looked. Until eventually we made it to the alter. We both wiped our husbands tears, then the officiant started talking. "Do you Hazel and Droll, take Zuri and Uria to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer as long as you both shall live?" "Yes we do." Said Dad and Hazel. "Do you Zuri and Uria wish the same?" "Yes we do." "Then by the power of God you may kiss the bride." Then I saw Hazel and dad look at each other and nod. Then he pulled me and kissed me passionately. "Woah that was a surprise. Did you and dad talk about you doing that?" "Yep. I've always wanted to do that." "Haha I bet you have." "Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Hazel Rowan Dean and Mr. and Mrs. Droll Rio Gold!" Then the music started. We both had our first dance. Then everyone joined in.

Once the dancing was done, then it was time to eat. Everyone was sitting at the table, then the toasts happened, and everyone ate. Someone said something surprising, and I chocked on my food. "I'm ok Hazel." I said still coughing. Then I drank my wine. I was better. "Ah. Much better." I said. "You ok now?" "Yeah I'm good." Then everyone mingled like a normal wedding.

It was time for the cake cutting. We didn't have a topper because we didn't have room for 4 people on it. Dad and Uria cut one side of the cake and we cut the other. We both smashed the cake in each others face. I've always dreamed of that. Dad and Uria did the same. Then our husbands cleaned our faces after kissing us. "After that tiny bite of cake I didn't eat anymore. I don't care for sweets much. Never have. "Did Rio get a tiny piece Hazel?" "I'm getting it now." "OK where is Seth?" "He is with your father." "OK." So I went over to dad.

"Hello dad. Why don't I take her over to Kira. You can have time with your newly made wife." He handed the baby to me and smiled. "Take care of those boys ok?" "Hmm. Dad in a month you will have them for awhile." "Well until then." "Yeah I will." Then I took Seth to Kira. Rio was there with them too.

Then I sat back with my husband. Then I kissed him. He kissed me back. Finally all that hard dancing mingling and stuff, it was time to go home for the night. It was our first nights of husband and wife, so Hazel and I are going to the new house and the baby boys are staying with Kira. Tyson and Kade are staying with friends.

We finally got to the house and went straight to the shower. That is when Hazel pushed me against the wall and started kissing me. "Hmm. Hazel what has gotten into you my handsome prince." I joked. "You have." He panted. Then he kissed me again and started doing other things. Then finally we got out of the shower and had some more fun on the bed.

We were finally done, then we snuggled up and went to sleep. The next morning we got up and got the boys. "Hey my precious baby boys. I got Seth you get Rio." "Ok sounds good." "Ok well thanks for watching them Kira." "No problem." Then we went to our new house. We didn't pack our things yet cause we are going to officially move in after the war if it is still up.

Now it was getting time for the war. It was getting closer. I talked to dad and he said he was going to start leaving now to keep the little ones and his future little one safe. "OK father. Take care of them ok? Bye babies. Be good for grandpa." "Mama." "Oh Rio. Its ok. Grandpa is going to look after you while mommy and daddy work ok? You have to protect baby brother." Then he puffed up his chest. I have him a big kiss on the cheeks and a big hug. I gave Seth a little kiss and told the boys I loved them. "Well dad. Stay safe." I gave him a hug and kiss on the cheek. Same with Uria. "See you later mom." then I saw her cry. "See you later Daughter." Then they were off.

"Ok now we just wait for uncle Aiden to show up. Until then lets train." We left Kade here, because I have a feeling his demon could show up in training sometime. "Ok lets start Kade off with another youngster demon. Uh how about Zeth. You are against Kade. The only rule is, if someone is too injured or can't get up anymore the fight is done! Fight!"

'We only have a month left. Lets hope we get through it alive.' I said to myself. I had someone else watch the fight and announce the winner. I had my own way of training. I went to the water near my house, then started training myself. The water felt nice on my skin.

I was getting tired out and held my knees. "Phew. I'm loosing my touch after having Seth." I said out loud not telling anyone particular. Then I heard a voice. "Oh I don't thinks so." "Huh who's there?" "Woah easy. Its me." "Oh Kei you scared me. Don't you have your own training where you live?" "They told me to leave because I was the best one. So I chose to come here and help you. Does your husband know you are out here?" "Um no. I sort of snuck out. I got bored. Plus we discussed the water demons will be fighting here anyway. If it comes to them being defeated here, then we can help out there." "That's good to know. I can't wait to fight with you." "That's if you are in my group. Eri's father is the one grouping everyone so take it up with him. Kei. So what shall we do for this training if you are going to train with me?" "Lets train normal rules. Too injured or can't get up." "Ok who goes first? Wait a wager." "What you want to bet?" "Yeah a friendly bet. Nothing too crazy I don't want Rio or Tyde to laugh at me." "Oh too bad. Ok lets see. Oh I know. How much of your daggers are around?" "Still quite a few why?" "Ok here's the deal. You beat me I will buy one of your daggers. If you loose, You can buy me a gift." "Are you sure? You know those daggers cost a lot." "Yeah I know that is why I said if you beat me. Don't worry I won't have you buy me anything expensive." "Haha I know but lets see who wins first." Then we started training. We trained under and above water.

I was getting out of breath, so I had to do my finishing move and use my power on him. Right now we were above water. Ok here I go. I did my finishing move on him then used my power and that did it. "Yes! Now who won!" He was laying flat on the ground out of breath as much as I am. "Deal is a deal. I will buy a dagger from you." Then I laid next to him out of breath.

We heard some footsteps and look where they were. "Oh Hazel. What's up?" "I knew I'd find you here. Are you ok?" "Yeah just beat the crap out of Kei. We are both out of breath right now." "Good job Zuri. You still got it. Now I have news follow me. Both of you should see. Better to see then tell." Then we followed him to the training grounds.

When we got there I saw a demon I never saw before. "Is that…" "Yes that is Kade." "Is he ok? Is he freaking out?" "He is being held right now. They are waiting for you." "Why didn't you say so!" I started running to where my brother was. "Kade! Oh my poor brother. I know it hurts at first and its scary. Just calm down ok? Once you are calm just close your eyes and think of being human ok?" I saw him start to calm then he slowly turned human. Then he ran over to me and hugged me. "Its ok now Kade. I know you are 12 years old and still young. you will be ok I promise. It will get easier. I can help you. Hazel and I will help you." "Do you want to train some more?" "No I think I'm done for today. I need rest." "OK lets go to the old home." "Sounds good." Hazel stayed with the others to train.

"Want to hear something cool?" "Sure." "I beat Kei's butt." "Haha really?" "Yeah really. He also has to buy at least one of my daggers. We made a bet." "Haha good wager sis." "Yep I'm going to be rich." "Oh sis." He patted my back. "Ok rest. Then I can help you learn to control your demon with Hazel's help." "Ok night sis." "Have a nice rest Kade." Then he went to his room to rest. I laid on the couch to rest.

Awhile later, I heard someone come in. I barely opened my eyes and saw it was only Hazel so I went back to sleep. "Aww she's asleep." He kissed her forehead and went to check on Kade. He too was asleep. "Sigh good. I can cook a little something for them to eat when they wake up."

Hazel made a bunch of snacks especially after that training that his wife did and Kade from turning. Then an hour or 2 later Kade woke up. He woke up before Zuri.

Zuri was still sleeping after 2 hours so Hazel went to check on her. "Hey Zuri honey are you ok?" "Hmm. 5 more minutes." "Sure I'll give you a few more I just wanted to see if you were ok." Then she went back to sleep. "Ok your sister is fine. I made some snacks for you and your sister. Eat up." "Hey Hazel? What was your first shift like? Was it scary for you too?" "Well it depends on the person. For me yes but more pain of shifting was scary. I was trained to control my emotions before I turned. That way I wouldn't loose control like you and your sister did." "I didn't hurt anyone did I?" "Just me and the two guards trying to hold you. Not too bad just scratches its fine." "I'm sorry Hazel." "Hey its ok. Like I said just scratches see." He showed Kade the scratch on his side. "How bad did I get the guards?" "Not bad they were scratches too." Kade was relived. "That's good. I'm glad sister was there. I didn't know what I would do without her." "Yeah she feels the same."

About another hour later she was starting to wake up. "Hmm. That was a good sleep. Oh Hey Kade. Did you sleep well?" "Yeah I slept fine. You slept for 3 hours. Hazel had to check if you were still ok." "My bad. I trained over my limit. I guess that's why."
