61 – A Little Surprise
Even though I wanted to destroy Shadow immediately, I had to restrain myself. The members of that organization must be highly trained. Even though we, the demons, are superior to them, our numbers are still small.
We don't know how strong they are. Moreover, we must focus on the war that will inevitably come.
After teleporting to Silkdale city, I walked with Xenora on the streets. I purposely put a hooded robe on her, so she will not attract attention too much.
She slowed her pace at a roadside vendor surrounded by a few people.
"Lord Vorn's pendant necklace! The more people use it as a sign of worship, the safer this city will be!" The vendor shouted as he held up a necklace bearing the symbol of a winged circle with the letter V. "Only lord Vorn can protect us! It's been proven! He sent his men to help the people!"
Since the first time we came, I've seen people wearing necklaces like that.
