' Sigh I was wrong. ' Azazel thought as he looked through books in the library.

I assumed most of them would be alive since Jay was but turns out only 3 heroes of the 6 are still alive.

The Demon Jigoku is still alive obviously from his demonic race giving him somewhat of immortality so he's the only one still with his prime body and prime strength.

For that reason each generation can only have 1 child, for example Jigoku can only have 1 child the gender doesn't matter, and that child can only have 1 child and so on. But Jigoku wanted a normal clan/family so he found a wife who liked him. She was an elf, at the moment she's quite old but better than the Human Jay. Sooner or later the demon race will be overshadowed by the other races and they'll be allowed to have more children.

' What a sad thing you wish for. Pathetic bastard.' Azazel thought moving on to the last hero alive.

Alyssa Kesen, in each generation there's 1 female mage able to use all elements. She's keeping herself alive with her massive magic storage and also keeping a somewhat young image of herself. Most of the clan members have different elements they can use, The current young star of their clan is training with the old hero.

' She's probably the strongest out of the children from all 5 clans. I hope I get to meet her early in the academy.

Azazel closed the book he was reading, these books get updated on their own by the current kings assistant to keep track of them.

The other 3 clans aren't worth caring about, they are simply sticking to their roots, The church preys and learns healing, the assassins train in the dark and work on shadow magic, and the tankers work on their body all day to build muscle, nothing worth caring about.

There's more clans besides these but, they shouldn't be worth the attention of the demon king.

On another note, it turns out the demons were annihilated, the only thing left of their presence is Jigokus clan.

Though they were gone a new enemy has come forth, new monsters were born. Goblins, ogres, flying creatures, different kinds of creatures now exist.

As to why that happened, it is unknown.

The Academy won't allow new students till the year ends, it's September so he had 3 months to train.

Azazel's muscles rippled with every precise movement as he practiced his swordsmanship. His focus was unwavering, his mind honed to the dance of steel in the air. The sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the training grounds, but Azazel continued his relentless training regimen.

Mary, his younger sister, approached tentatively, her eyes wide with admiration. "Can I join?" she asked, her voice barely a whisper amid the clash of metal.

Azazel didn't break his rhythm, his concentration unbroken. He didn't reply, but he didn't need to. His silence was permission enough. Ofcourse only according to her, Azazel wished nothing but for her to go away.

With a determined spark in her eyes, Mary dashed to the weapon rack and grabbed two swords. She mirrored Azazel's movements, her form not as refined but her determination just as strong. As the siblings moved through the drills, the air hummed with the sound of blades slicing through the space. Azazel though concentrating on his training was surprised at this girl talent in swordsmanship. Could she be one of the new hero's now that the demon king is back?

In that shared silence, a bond unspoken but profound, the siblings trained side by side. Each swing of their swords was a testament to their lineage—a line that connected a once-dreaded demon king to a hero, and now to siblings seeking their own paths in the world.

The moon rose high, casting a silver glow upon the training grounds, as they continued their practice. In that moment, they were not just Azazel and Mary; they were warriors, heirs to a legacy, bound by blood and a shared destiny yet to be unraveled.

Azazel stopped randomly to check if she would do the same and as expected she did, in the same pose as him as well. She wasn't just keeping track, she was doing every move at the same time after a while.

' It's like she knows my swordsmanship...Wouldn't it be fun to change the new heroes fate? '

As he sheathed his swords back to his hips he signaled his sister to come to him which she quickly dropped the swords and ran to him.

She looked up towards him with a smile as Azazel put his hand on her head and started patting her.

Though he was hiding a devilish smirk,

" Demon Bonding. " With these words a dark aura covered his hand as it spread around her without her knowledge.

Mistaking Azazels skill for warmth from her older brother, the aura went away after a few seconds.

' Now she will slowly only listen to me and never have the thought of hurting me. Even if the other person shows evidence, she will deny it and attack them. ' Having a smile on his face from the beautiful work he did he took out his swords again and had Mary continue training with him.

' What a wonderful gift I was given. ' Azazels eyes shined darkly in excitement.

Who wouldn't like a strong right hand for the future?
