Hostage?

In the midst of the Jutsus launched by the Anbus, Kai's Wrath ability surged within him, a mix of power and anger that resonated through his very being; In an instant, the elements was met with an invisible barrier that defied the destructive jutsus. The air crackled with the tension of opposing forces, an eerie stillness settling in the clearing as the flames and winds recoiled, their power countered by the strength of Kai's wrathful aura.

In the wake of this dramatic display, Kai's form blurred with an astonishing speed—an almost instantaneous movement that saw him darting through the forest like a shadow. He targets the lurking Anbu operatives who had orchestrated this abduction.

He moved with a fluid grace and with a calculated swiftness, he bypassed their defenses; killing two Anbus that hid within the forest.

Yet, almost immediately, another two Anbu operatives emerged from the shadows, their swords threatening straight at Teuchi and Ayumi.

"Stop. Do not move!" one of the Anbu commanded, their voices laced with authority.

Kai's gaze flickered between the captors and the hostages. Slowly, deliberately, he approached the two Anbu operatives, his footstep still calm.

"I swear I'll kill them!!" The Anbu's voice was swift with the weight of his anger.

"Try it," Kai challenged, his tone carrying a razor-sharp edge of defiance.

The Anbu operative before him seemed to take Kai's words to heart. In one swift motion, his sword arced upwards, aimed at Teuchi's neck with a deadly precision. The imminent danger hung heavy in the air along with the tension that goes with it.

And then, Kai snapped his finger—a gesture that carried with it, power. Sloth: Temporal Time. In an instant, a radiant blue barrier enveloped the clearing, a temporal shield that seemed to warp the fabric of reality itself. Time itself seemed to slow as the motion of the blade decelerating until it hung suspended in the air, its lethal trajectory halted.

Within the time-altered barrier, Kai moved quickly yet elegantly, untouched by the time manipulation he created. He closed the distance between himself and the frozen Anbu operative. Gently, he reached out, taking Teuchi and Ayumi by the hand. With a simple motion, he pulled them away from the danger that had threatened them. It was a short-lived ability as the temporal barrier shattered, revealing the constrained time he have in using this ability.

Amidst the aftermath of the tense standoff, as the dust settled and the echoes of power waned, Kai's attention shifted to the hostages—Teuchi and Ayumi.

"Are you okay?" he asked,

Both Teuchi and Ayumi nodded, their expressions relieved and surprised.

"Stay behind my back for now," Kai instructed, his stance resolute.

As the two nodded, he turned his attention to the two Anbu operatives who stood before him, surprised at the sudden turn of events.

"W-What happened?" one of them stammered. It was understandable that they were confused.

Kai's aura flared once more, the energy rippled around him. He manipulated the aura, causing it to encircle the two Anbu operatives, ensnaring them in its grasp. Their movements were stilled, their attempts to flee thwarted by the intangible energy that held them in place.

With his Lust ability once more activated, Kai's gaze bore into the captive Anbu operatives. His voice, authoritative and unwavering, cut through the tense silence.

"Who sent you?" he demanded, his words laced with an air of command.

Fear and uncertainty were etched on the faces of the captive Anbu. Their resolve seemed to waver as they faced the might of Kai's powers, his aura casting a daunting shadow over them. Just as one of them was on the brink of divulging the information, a familiar threat reared its head—the seal that had silenced the anbu before, one that would horrifyingly slash at the Anbu's tongue appeared.

However, Kai's resolve would not be so easily undermined - "Not this time", Kai said.

He acted swiftly, his fingers immediately grabbing against the faces of the captive Anbu operatives. And then, an unexpected twist unfolded—a new power, a hidden 8th sin known as the Sin of Nullification was used by Kai. This sin stems from the desire to dominate over another person, It is designed to crush the abilities of another person with a simple touch, rendering them null and void.

Instantly, a burst of chakra appeared from the Anbu's body, and the chakra disappeared towards the sky. It was clear then that the seal threatening to slice through the captives' tongues vanished as if it had never existed.

The words flowed forth once the seal disappeared, a name carried on their reluctant voices—"Lord Danzo."

"Lord Danzo was the one that sent us here. To capture you and bring you to him."

With a determined tone, Kai instructed, "Lead me to him."

The Anbu operative simply nodded in response.

Before departing, Kai turned to Teuchi and Ayumi, addressing them gently, "We'll have a chance to talk later. I understand you must be feeling confused right now. Head home, the way is safe."

Leaving them with those words, he followed the Anbu.
