The Accident

"Why the hell did you go without me? Did i not ask you that i will accompany you to every place today. Huh?"

"........" did he just come here driving with this inhumanly speed and breaking all the signals to remind her that she had forgotten him? Was he a crazy maniac or…"

The sound of horns took her attention back and she realized many cars had surrounded her suddenly.

Had she not taken the deserted road? Then why were there so many cars suddenly. Her hold on the steering wheel tightened and she tried her best to find a way out of it.

But the problem was there were two cars in front of her and two cars were behind her and on the left there was a police car that was trying their best to match up to her and on the right there was this crazy person who was shouting and glaring at her.

She was surrounded badly but both the clutch and brakes were not working so she did not know what to do now?

"Damn! Leave a way! I can not stop the car! It would only lead to an accident if you keep surrounding me?" she shouted at the top of her lungs, thinking that it might be their way to stop her.

But none of the cars stopped or gave her a way.

She felt a jerk all over her body when the car behind her car rammed into her. The hit was enough to disbalance her and she had to hold the steering wheel tightly to avoid getting her head hit on the steering wheel.

If she had any doubts before, now she was sure that the other cars were not there by chance, they had been set up intentionally to make sure that she would not survive.

She laughed maniacally with that thought but more tears started to flow from her eyes. Her vision started turning blur and her mind started giving up.

If her death was planned so meticulously, why was she even trying to fight with all of them? Did this kind of life even make any sense?

Wouldn't it be better to just give up and accept the sleep. It might even give her the peace she needed. For the first time she realized that she was getting tired, not only driving but fighting all the time for survival. And it might be the time that she should give up.

With that thought her grip on the steering wheel loosened but before she could give up completely and the car lost its balance, she felt a strong pair of arms holding her tightly.

She forced her eyes to look at the person as she blinked a few times but she was still afraid to let go of the steering wheel. Her unconscious mind was still trying to survive even if she had given up.

"You can let go of it! I will handle it from now on!" Hao looked at the girl whose whole body was exhausted and her face was a crying mess yet he wondered how she had survived for so long.

She was not an ordinary girl, he had already concluded when he could not hear her thought process but now..!

"Bamm!!!" "jerr kkk"

The sound of the hit and the jerk she felt brought her blurry mind back to her senses. But everything happened so fast that she did not get the time to save herself.

The sound of the sirens had increased and she could feel the heat due to fire. Large flames were getting released by the vehicles. The shattering of glass and the smell of burning had filled her senses. Yet she did not have time to react or run away as if her legs were frozen to her place.

"Was this my end?" she murmured as the large flames started engulfing them. But before she could lose her consciousness, she felt his warm arms engulfing her and soon her body gave up.

The sound of sirens and police cars, shouting and many more voices in the background created a frown on her face and she tried to open her eyes when she felt that someone was moving while taking her in his arms.

"Where are we going?" she asked as she tried hard to open her eyes but as if it was glued. No matter how much pressure she put, her eyes did not open at all.

Hao looked at the girl in her arms with surprise. His eyes scanned the car again that was beyond recognition.

The car had crashed and started burning before he could shield her from his own body. The blood started to flow from her head and her whole body was pierced with shards of glasses but before he could take her to the ambulance that had already reached there, her wounds started to heal with the speed visible from open eyes.

He moved to climb out of the car first and before the police and ambulance could reach their car, he held her and ran towards the other side. Her pink shirt had turned red from blood but not a single wound was left there.

If he did not know any better, he would have thought that it was someone else's blood. What surprised him more that even after getting wounded, she did not wince in pain or her face had a frown that showed that she was suffering.

Her body was only showing signs of exhaustion and mental shock that had made her unconscious, yet she could feel everything around her.

"Zhao Wei!" he shouted with intense pressure that the girl stumbled out of his mind with a horror filled face.

"Are you sure that she is a human? Scan her again now!"
