In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk. Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features. His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.
Liu Ming saw this situation, narrowed his eyes slightly, and didn't descend from the air right away; he circled around the ghostly creature below for a while before flicking his sleeve, sending the black rope shooting downward, while simultaneously forming a hand seal with one hand.
After a flash of black light from the rope, it suddenly sprang to life, wrapping around the white-boned scorpion seven or eight times before tightening securely.
Following this, Liu Ming flipped his hand over, and four pale-yellow talismans appeared, injected with a bit of his magical power, then his wrist shook once more.
With a "puff" sound, of the four talismans, only one transformed into a beam of silver spell inscriptions and shot down, disappearing in a flash before reappearing clearly right above the white-boned scorpion's head, as if it were directly engraved upon it.
After a slight tremor of its body, the white-boned scorpion became rigid and motionless.
