Chapter 22: Bargaining

"Stop it, you dumbass old hag!" Lidia yelled at her. "If you said again, I'll cut your V like cutting the tuna!"

"Uwah! Thou shalt hold thy horse, lady Lidia. If thou cant, thou only made thy friend became fake again~," she said with a cynical tone.

"Heard your honest statements," she laughed. "You knew how to bait someone, didn't you? Make sense if you had received that predicate, you old hag!"

"I took that reply as a compliment!" she smiled at her.

The situation started to become worst because of that quarrel. When the intense quarrel became worst, the deeper voices spoke to us,

"Enough both of you!"

Hearing that voices had spoken before me, I looked at that voices. Stood before me, there was an old man who appeared. With five feet five inches of tall, he stood like a nobleman of the kingdom.

He did a menacing glare. With a serious face he did, he began to speak,

"I've never thought that you'll come again to this place after all you did before," he smirked at her.

"Indeed. I came to fulfill the request that I'd talked before. I hope thou didn't forget, Sir- Oh, pardon for my mouth. I mean, Mr. Edward Koto～," she smirked back at him.

(Shit! Looks like they started to flick the fire on the straw! I forgot to bring popcorn in here!) I made a face-palm pose.

"Hah! I knew what you thinks about, Besper!" she punched my right arm. "Thy expectations had ended here because he's my "old pal" !" She began to laugh at me.

Hearing that, it made me a little disappointed. The Old man who glared at me before started to sigh while speaking,

The old man went to another direction through a black door. We, including Lidia, also went to the place that he said before. Three of us went through one big door red. The door had same sieze as adult height.

When the three of us through into the door, there was a village before us. This place is also fulfilled with many trees. It's more like a forest than a village.

(I feel like I've gone to another world. Is this place an isekai?!) I felt curious and excited at the same time.

"What art thou doing!" Nostradamus calling me. "Hurry up and don't get lost!"

Hearing that, I started to approach both of them. After taking several times to walk, we arrived at one big house with a pavilion behind it. Lidia said to us to wait for a moment in the pavilion while preparing the meals.

With the same condition as before, I began asking Nostradamus,

"My mind was completed fulfilling with many questions," I said while observing this place, "First of all, where are we right now??"

"Right now, we're already in the territory of the bunian people. Did you know?"

"Honestly, I only knew a little information about that. Those creatures are supernatural beings. But, It only appeared in the forests of Sumatra, Borneo, and the Malay Peninsula..," I realized something. "Did you say... that we were already in one of three from those forests?!"

"Thou'rt right indeed, my dear!" she said while smiling at me, "We were already in Sumatra forests!"

I was shocked when hearing those replies. But, when I saw Nostradamus's eyes, those eyes were as if they said the truth. Seeing that, I started to speak,

Lidia started to come while bringing the meals. After several moments we waiting there, the Old man has come. Chit-chat continued until the main topic started to speak,

"So, what did you want? You're the person who didn't come back unless you wanted something," he said with a serious tone.

"Repair my and his weapons, amounts of money, and a map," she said with a casual tone.

"Hey, old hag!" Lidia replied angrily, "You almost made my father become hated by villagers. If you say ridiculous shit again, I'll make you suffer!"

"Wah wah wah!" she made an awed face while clapping her hands, "But, art thou sure to say that after soiled politics that I've helped before? At least, for position thy father right now, silly girl?" Nostradamus began smirking at Lidia.

Lidia wanted to say back. But, she was interrupted by the right hand of her father. The Old man started to speak again,

"Enough of that, Lidia!" he silenced for a while and began to speak, "All right! Like before, isn't it?"

"Perfect! But, in addition, thou must add the elemental to our weapons,"

"Are you insane?! Add the elemental gave much trouble for me!"

"Ah, don't be such a spoiled child thou'rt!" she began speaking seriously, "Friends always help in every situation, isn't it? Or thou wanted this situation to become complicated?" she changed intonation to become a joyful tone while smiling at him.

The air of this situation became heavy. Silence remains in this situation. After several silence, the Old man began speaking,

"What did elemental you want?"

Instead of answering his question, Nostradamus asked me,

"What did you want?"

Hearing her question, I began to confuse. For several seconds I thought, I answered her question,

"Fire!"

Lidia started to sigh and started to speak,

"Awesome! So, my weapons are legendary things, isn't it?!"

"Of course not, you idiot!" she started to laugh, "If you wanted to have it, bring some ingredient mythical first like a horn of the unicorn and et Cera. For you, I made some grade-E weapons. At least, your weapons could kill some supernatural creatures,"

"Why did you make me such those weapons?!" I protest at her.

Nostradamus started to speak to me,

(So, I must get those first, huh!) I muttered while sighing after hearing that.

After that, we're leaving this realm. Just walking a few steps, a bunian man approached the Old man in a hurry while saying,

"Sir Edward Koto, sorry to interrupt your meeting! We got the bad news that Homang attacks us in the north area!"

The Old man began left already us behind. Lidia ran to chase her father. I, who was left behind, began to speak Nostradamus,

"What should we do next? Just wait?"

"Observe and find a gap!" She began to follow both of them. Left me behind. Seeing that, I followed her instructions.

I started running after them. After chasing them, I finally arrived at the north area.

I saw a huge creature like a giant monkey with big muscles in this area. Its fur is dense and jet-black. Her red eyes glowed. More like a siamang with a bodybuilder's muscles.

"Is that... Homang??" Besper started to question it.

"Thy prediction is right!" Nostradamus said beside Besper with a serious tone. "That's a Homang. A supernatural being who always fought against the bunian people. They're enemies who like to plunder other creatures' areas, including the bunian area. Simply put, they are scavengers like hyenas,"

Hearing her information, Besper as if understood this situation. Nostradamus began to speak again,

"It's more like the first job in here!" Nostradamus sighed. "How nostalgiac!"

On the other hand, the Homang started attacking some of the Bunian people. As a result of the attack it carried out, Homang injured several people, including the Old man. After being satisfied attacking the Bunian people, Homang saw Lidia. Because of that, Homang started to attack Lidia.

"Lidia, back off!" the Old man screamed at her.

Unfortunately, Lidia was hit in her hand and sent flying several meters. The Old man who tried to save her daughter couldn't stand up because of the severe injuries he received.

Lidia fell to the ground. The Homang began to approach Lidia. Then, the creature took a large rock not far from it. From the movement, the Homang tries to smash the rock on Lidia's head.

"Lidia! Don't you dare to hit my daughter, you big scum monkey!" the Old man screamed at Homang.

Instead of being afraid, the Homang glanced briefly at the Old man while smiling slyly. After that, the Homang immediately started its action.

"Lidia!!!" the Old man screamed at its action.

The Homang did its actions several times. The Old man was shocked and began to agonize scream. His screams were heard from another area.

The Homang started to take a look at her body. When the Homang saw it, it began to scream as if it were angered at something. The Old man who heard that tried to look at it.

The dust of the earth that had been hit by a large rock before slowly began to disappear. After taking a look carefully, the Old man noticed that Lidia's body wasn't in there. As if disappeared.

Suddenly, there was a sound that began speaking,

"Shit! Your daughter's weight is like a hippo, you know, Old man!" The sounds began to complain it.

The Old man began to search for the source of the voices. Shockingly, its voice source comes from beside him. Those voices came from a young man that he had given weapons before,

"Now, let us make a deal, shall we!" Besper began to smile at him.
