However, not everyone was as delighted as them.

He had intentions to stop the man from pressuring Shen as soon as possible but when he saw Shen smiling instead of sweating in fear, he forgot to make a move.

"Alright, that's enough! This was a fair sparring session and even though young sect master Xiao has been injured, they certainly aren't heavy injuries" Qin Wuyou said, releasing his own profound strength to make the man back down.

"Tch, then I believe disciple Shen should at least give us Heaven Returning Pellet just like he did to the disciple Luo Li!" The middle-aged man demanded and while his demand would sound very shameless in normal circumstances, the others looked curiously towards Shen who previously gave such a precious pellet away for free without any hesitation.

While the others were half expecting Shen to give one more away, his actual response surprised them.

"Eh? No way! Brother Luo's situation was different since his injuries were caused mostly by the accident so I felt guilty, however, this was just a regular spar, I believe brother Xiao hasn't attained any serious injuries for me to be guilty over."

"My Palace's disciple has absolutely no obligation to give anyone anything at all." Qin Wuyou's figure flashed and appeared next to Shen.

With this over, people from the Xiao sect had nothing else to say so they took their leave while carrying Xiao Luocheng out of the hall.

Since Shen practically announced the end of the banquet, Qin Wuyou was forced to make the statement himself, though, it wasn't like he minded it. When everyone left the hall, Lan Xueruo approached Shen with a bright smile on her face.

"I must admit, you have left this senior sister very impressed." She congratulated Shen in a joking tone.

"Then I must admit everything is going according to my plans!" Shen replied with a proud smile and his left eye closed which caused her to giggle in slight embarrassment, however little did she know Shen wasn't actually joking. Two of them talked for a while, trying to ignore the stares of the other palace's disciples before Qin Wuyou called for Shen's presence.

This time, she decided to let Shen go alone and once he arrived, Qin explained the reason behind his call. Basically, he offered Shen to become his direct disciple and the countless amount of resources for his personal usage to get stronger. He also mentioned and offered him a possibility of transferring to the Blue Wind Profound Palace once the time was right. In the end, he also offered Shen a new room, exclusively for him so he could focus on his cultivation in peace.

Shen obviously accepted the room since he needed space and peace to take a look at his new pet that he randomly received from the quest reward. Not wanting to waste any time, Shen went to his room and looked into his inventory when he found a new gray scroll. He took it out and poured some of his profound energy into it and within a flash, a small black fluffy ball appeared on his bed.

That fluffy ball was curled up Raven that woke up after being summoned.

'P-Papa!' Shen was shocked to hear a very young girl's voice inside his head.

'Fine, no need to urge this little cutie' Shen uncharacteristically agreed with a faint smile and sat down next to the raven. He took some food out of his storage and started hand feeding it.
