-----So I'm not your guy btw. Not the original for this novel and ideas. However after much deliberations here is the product, where it goes. fuck if we know. So you know many spelling flaws or grammar mistakes. If you see them point them out I guess.-----
It was a wild ride, I smiled as I watched the news just after work one last time. The pain stuck me and I flinched. I had to reach out to a orange bottle of pills. I had 6 left.
I tossed all 6 in my mouth and swallowed them dry. I really didn't matter how many pain killers I took. I knew I'd be dead by tomorrow. Whether it was due to illness or by my dear Providence. I smiled as I saw him frowning on the news watching people clean up my mess. I grabbed the remote and un-muted it wanting to hear what the reporter is saying.
I un-muted just as she started her explanation though I recognized the word This had been cut off. "-is is by far the most brutal killing the Villainous bastard known as Spectrum has committed. Unfortunately this time Providence wasn't able to arrive on the seen to stop his massacre. I am sad to say the causalities are numerous. We will have a brief moment of silence as we respect those lives that were lost."
The female reporter paused letting a list of name slowly scroll on the screen and I frowned. They were editing this in real time, that was a first...
"Now that the moment is gone let us verbally count the heroes that were first on the scene." I scoffed, Heroes was a strong term. They were Awaken just like me and the average joe. To call them heroes was like calling me a monster.
"Frost Fire, Kakamota, Iris Wells, Val Thatcher, Igni-"
I rolled my eyes and got up I dropped my pants and took off the plain jackets I had on while the reporter whined off the names. Once I put on my favorite pair of shorts and a grey collared shirt I returned to the TV.
"-ey rest in peace. They will have an official burial at the Leruian Memorial. Now... I will be passing the microphone the The great Awakened Providence."
I had to let out a brief laugh when Providence took the mic. I smiled at his words, "We have found out the name of Spectrum, Please do not engage with him if you know him by name. Alistar Hathaway, an Awaken the same age of myself at 34. Other alias he may have used is Mack Kebler or Max Griffin."
My grin was unbelievable, Finally that bastard got what he deserved. I pressed my fingers into my arm chair. However the next second I turned away choking and coughing. My vision was blurry and I had to stand up to see the TV.
"From what we know and learned Alistar Hathaway had a skill similar to that of item box or spatial storage. It is my most displeasure to say that Alistar was in the same year of awakened as I was in. I even knew him personally in the past. I apologize greatly for this mistake in judgement."
I rolled my eyes I looked at my status briefly. My health was at its last legs, only 9 hit points. I shook my head staring at the conditions. I shook my head, Providence would never admit his misdeeds. However he would always have stains on his 'perfect' career. I turned off the TV done for the day. I knew their would be nothing new.
The world would be stunned to hear the truth about my abilities and likely never believe it. However I didn't care about that. After all I had killed thousands of awakened and with my few skills they would never suspect that I could do it with what I had.
I saw my health tick down and I sighed as I stumbled to bed. I would prefer to die comfortably after all. I sat down and thought about providence one last time. Everything started when he stole that elixir from me, then framed me as a murderer. I could never return to the any of the towers after that. Meaning I never had a chance at an elixir that could cure my cancer.
The one he stole from me was my last chance. Yet the bastard used it to heal his sister who was only paralyzed. With his powers he could've easily gotten the cash for a healer. Instead he stole from me, framed me, and then doomed me. What was worse was we both started as porters who barely survived that blasted hidden dungeon on the 15th floor.
I laid my head on my pillow and looked at my status as my health bar ticked down once more. I felt blood run down my nose. I wiped it away and sighed my vision was blurring I could barely focus on my status now.

I laughed 7 skills and 2 unique skills. My status was a strange one. Normally it would be rare to have unique skills, except I had two. One was the first skill I ever had and the one I was known for while the other was what kept me alive for longer than i should've.
Except my normal skills were the crazy ones. I had 7 which was unheard of. Not because it was a lot, but because it was so few. Not to mention I was lacking the most basic and common of skills. I lacked any sort of mana circuit or control skill. Couldn't even use aura, and due to me dying even before the Towers and Dungeons and all that bullshit I could never unlock any life-force abilities that could extend my life.
I laughed to sleep as I knew they would find my body. If I could watch from the beyond I knew I would have a laughing fit that would kill me again. After all just imagine them looking at my status would be hilarious.
I let one last blurring blink at the progress to death condition. Hopefully it would reach 100% before they got to me. That way resurrection spells or skills would work. I knew Providence had at least one of th-....

"We are too late. He's dead."
Sarah frowned, however she spoke, "I can't believe its Alistar. I thought he died in a dungeon or the tower. Specially after you and him cleared that hidden dungeon inside the tower."
It stung me that it was Alistar and it was gonna sting everyone else who knew the truth. I left him to die after all and it wasn't hard for our friends to figure it out. However we all knew we weren't that close... Well not until after the hidden dungeon. I slammed my fist through the bastard's wall. "Dammit to think! TO FUCKING THINK! I BET HE'S SMILING IN HELL."
Sarah shook her head, "You won't believe this."
I looked over and she was scanning his body. She had gotten her appraisal skill to the supreme level. She could even share the contents of what she sees. Currently it was displaying his status screen, it would have a few changes like his body would lose all blessing. As they would change and enter the conditions as Lost Blessings. Along with the Condition line showing the condition of Death or Irreversible death if the soul was destroyed.
Sarah moved over to let me see and I felt my stomach drop and my entire face wrinkled.

"What is?" I heard my voice waver. All his skills were lost, which shouldn't happen. Skills remained on the body unless they were stated otherwise. This was because of the skills that allowed for one to acquire skills from the dead.
However it wasn't just his skills that were off. No, that wasn't right to say they were horribly off specially for what he had accomplished. No, it was his status entirely that was off in more than one way. "The bastard is impossible both in life and death. Don't report this, report the body. We say he lit himself a blaze in his sleep knowing we were on his trail."
Sarah breathed in and nodded looking back at the status that was still updating even now. We both stared in horror as the normally red bar that had numbers in it to indicate health ticked down. Even though the thing was empty and the negative health was already impossible. The thing now read as -9/19.
"Scratch what I said just burn his house down. We say we couldn't find him inside. Better people think he's still out there rather than... Whatever this is."
I stormed out and left Sarah to do her work. It seemed I would need to reach higher floors in the tower. They all connected to the exact same indoors. Much like the dungeons connected elsewhere. All the towers that were in the real world went to one version of them all. Endless floors and endless questions, however some floors you could get answers.
"That's what I need now. Gotta find one of those floors or hidden dungeons."
