The next day, they started the journey early in the morning. Ambai took a quick shower and changed into the clothes she had previously packed before.
While Rebus sat still on the bed with a weird look on his face.
"What's wrong?" she gently caressed his face.
"Nothing." he wiped his face roughly. "You ready?"
"Yes, let's go,"
Rebus opened the door with an unknown look in his eyes.
Ambai pulled on her cape and her backpack and followed after him. 'What kind of dream did he have for him to be so spooked,' she gently caressed his stiff back?
He glanced back with a soft smile. "Don't worry, I'm doing well."
"But you are clearly not. You don't look good, Rebus. Even though you slept well last night, you still have dark circles," her finger glided over his grey skin under his eyes. "Is something wrong? Are you feeling sick..... wait is it because I drank from you. Is that why you are like this?"
