Chapter 86 - Meeting [1]

We decided to accept Erman's offer. After saying goodbye to the girls, I went home and grabbed my phone. Erman had given me his number so I could call him once I made a decision. As soon as I dialed his number, the phone vibrated for a few seconds before Erman's voice echoed.

[It's been a while, kid. Have you made up your mind?]

Erman asked immediately after answering, and I wasn't surprised he knew the reason for my call. Technically, there was no other reason for me to call him. This worked out well for me since I could speed up the conversation.

[We've decided to accept your offer, at least the part about handling the portal. Can we discuss the proposal for assembling a team after that?]

Upon hearing my words, Erman let out a brief laugh. From the tone of his voice, he didn't seem very surprised that I had, in a way, postponed our decision. Well, to be honest, Erman was a bit of a tough read.
