Location, Derbent Naryn-kala fortress occupies the top of the hill closest to the Caspian Sea. The path along the coast was blocked by two parallel fortress walls. Between the walls, spaced 350–450 meters apart, lay the medieval city of Derbent. The irregularly shaped citadel occupies an area of 4.5 hectares in dimensions, approximately 180 meters wide and 255 meters long.

The walls are fortified with small towers at a distance of 20–30 meters from each other and a gun tower in the southwest. unsure of what would happen next. But the death toll rises as evil creeps within the household as a Mother brutally ills and even eats her own child. Even a teen-aged son was seen raping his dead sister's dead body in broad daylight for all to see. Vile and immoral terrorist acts were being committed by those who were infected by this evil; shop owners who were minding their own business suddenly just stabbed themselves in the neck while commerce was happening; old men would just attack a grandson with a pitchfork while tending to their produce;

and even trusted friends and neighbors' were turning on each other with violent intent. The once peaceful community had become a breeding ground for heinous acts, where no one felt safe and everyone lived in constant fear. The evil that had taken hold seemed to have corrupted the very essence of humanity, leaving a trail of destruction and despair in its wake. The United Nations sent a company of military personnel who were knowledgeable in other fields such as science, medicine, engineering, and construction.

These soldiers were taken from the best units in different countries to be their representatives to handle certain situations under the laws and policies that the United Nations sanctioned, ensuring a well-rounded approach to addressing the challenges within the fortress. With their diverse expertise, these soldiers are equipped to handle any unforeseen circumstances that may arise, providing a comprehensive solution to the complex issues plaguing the residents of Derbent .

Certain investigations pointed out that this was not caused by chemical toxins or any man-made materials. After personally seeing something that they all could not explain, the 150 UN personnel headed by Marine lieutenant colonel Daniel Jacob Chevalier and his wife, Surgeon General Natali F. so they just poured more cement and a former priest even secretly bless the water that they were using in the cement thinking there is no harm in doing so, but the issue never stop as more of their personnel and citizens of Derbent succumbed to insanity and just started murdering, so the inevitability in using force to stop this was always applied but was never a sure solution because every case ends in death,

until somebody who studied parapsychology at the University of Edinburgh made a discovery and provided a rational and very convincing argument that those who began to psychologically change were caused by something truly evil and were not of this world, prompting the authorities to reconsider their initial dismissal.

Marine lieutenant colonel Daniel Jacob Chevalier with forty-six armed members of the UN peacekeeping force had to steady their resolves and strengthen their faith as they made a heartbreaking decision to save their own life, as they kill the Derbent Infected residents that attack the Naryn-kala fortress while they sleep, Surgeon General Natali F. Chevalier desperately used all her skill to save the wounded soldiers and officers protecting the area, especially the location of the Rift that they have already sealed, a religious item from the remaining soldiers were convinced this is the work of the devil so their rooms were covered with torn pieces of their religious holy book without exception no matter what faith it may be,

Marine lieutenant colonel Daniel Jacob Chevalier was able to convince Wyatt to lend a helping hand by secretly sending the greatest discovery he has ever made, but reaching Jacob Chevalier was impossible so he sent an item to his younger brother and was able to give instructions to his older brother that the item that Sir Wyatt deemed to be vital was inside his private safe that he has remote access remotely,
