Gulp!
"That… that terrifying!"
Witnessing the scene before them, every agent of the Seventh Sector simultaneously displayed expressions of shock and fear.
None of them had expected the seemingly invincible extraterrestrial mechanical lifeform—a robot the size of a small mountain—to have both its arms casually dismantled by Cyborg. Like a god descending to earth, Cyborg subdued Barricade with a single blow.
None of them doubted that the enemy had lost all ability to retaliate.
Both arms were gone!
Even if it transformed into a car, it was missing two tires and wouldn't even be able to escape!
Not far away, Keller and Thomas finally exhaled in relief, the weight on their hearts lifting slightly.
To be honest, while they held the Justice League in high regard, witnessing one of its members—Cyborg—display such extraordinary power right in front of them still stirred an overwhelming sense of awe deep within their hearts, taking over their entire inner world.
"If the military had someone like this, we wouldn't even need planes or artillery to win every battle," Keller couldn't help but think to himself.
Suddenly, he understood why Ross, who was now a historical figure, had been so obsessed with capturing that green monster.
Once you've witnessed extraordinary power, it only natural to want to seize it.
That said, Cyborg was undoubtedly one of the Justice League top-tier combatants, if not the top-tier.
And yet, even a man wielding such immense power took orders from Batman.
What more, it couldn't be overlooked that Batman, who had remained calm and collected from the beginning, was the true founder of the Justice League.
Every single member of the Justice League followed Batman lead.
The military had long since ranked the Justice League members, based on the information published by The Daily Bugle.
From a purely combat perspective, Batman displayed abilities thus far didn't seem to surpass Cyborg.
However, in their estimation, if Cyborg was the top choice, the next would undoubtedly be the unpredictable Batman, nearly tied with him. Following closely behind were Spider-Man, the Ninja Turtles, and Venom. At the bottom were Green Arrow and Daredevil.
The reasoning for Green Arrow and Daredevil lower placement was simple.
They lacked any extraordinary abilities.
Unlike Spider-Man, the Turtles, and Venom, Green Arrow and Daredevil appeared to be ordinary humans—just exceptionally skilled fighters.
What that? Batman also seems like an ordinary human?
While that may be true on the surface, the fact that Batman was the leader of the Justice League was enough for the military to refrain from treating him as a mere human.
Now, as for Green Arrow and Daredevil…
Green Arrow was often compared to Hawkeye.
As for Daredevil, his superhuman hearing wasn't something that could be discerned by the naked eye.
In summary, compared to these two, the abilities of Spider-Man and the others went far beyond mere combat skills, giving them a slight edge.
Lost in thought, Keller and Thomas exchanged glances before turning their attention to Batman.
"Batman, if I understand you correctly, this Bumblebee is one of the good guys among the aliens. The faction he belongs to, the Autobots, means no harm to Earth…"
Keller paused, then continued, "Whereas the one that just appeared, the Decepticon Barricade, belongs to a faction called the Decepticons. They want to obtain the AllSpark, conquer Earth, and transform it into their home planet, Cybertron. Is that correct?"
"That right," Anton nodded. "Based on the information we've gathered, that exactly the case."
He turned to look at Keller and said slowly, "The AllSpark is the key. The Autobots intend to find it and then leave Earth with it to return to Cybertron and rebuild their home planet. The Decepticons' intentions, however, are entirely different."
"This is a battle of factions!"
Anton tone grew solemn. "If we don't handle this properly, Earth could become a battleground between the Autobots and Decepticons! Keller, prepare yourself… The AllSpark is in your hands. When the situation changes, your final decision will be crucial!"
During the exchange between the two sides, Barricade, now armless, wore a grim expression.
He understood that the opponent before him was unbeatable and that escape was impossible.
Clenching his teeth, he made one last desperate charge.
At that moment, Cyborg, expressionless, offered no opportunity for reprieve.
Boom!
A single cannon shot shattered Barricade head.
His entire body erupted in flames, the connections between his mechanical joints breaking apart. The contact between his leaking lubricant and the sparks caused his body to burn fiercely until he gradually fell silent.
Bumblebee watched the scene unfold with a solemn expression.
The battle between Cyborg and Barricade had ended in such a manner, exceeding Bumblebee expectations.
From the data he had gathered earlier, he understood that Cyborg and his team had recently dealt with another alien force in New York.
The enormous alien spaceship alone was enough to make even Bumblebee feel it was a formidable challenge.
This realization made Bumblebee acknowledge that while humans were a young species in the universe, they were far from weak.
Despite defeating Barricade, Cyborg didn't immediately leave his remains.
Instead, his electronic eye scanned up and down, detecting unusual fluctuations.
Boom!
Another cannon shot.
A small robot jumped out of Barricade wreckage to avoid the blast.
Frenzy!
This tiny Decepticon was the smallest of their ranks, with four long, thin arms. Its chest could fire CDs as concealed weapons. Frenzy often transformed into everyday household devices, like portable stereos or cell phones, to monitor humans, blending in perfectly.
Crucially, Frenzy was Barricade closest partner and could eject from Barricade chest.
As Cyborg, an avatar of Anton, he certainly hadn't forgotten about this miniature Decepticon.
The moment Frenzy appeared, it launched a flurry of CDs from its chest, attempting to disrupt Cyborg and create an opportunity to escape.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
Cyborg sneered, unfazed by the feeble attack.
With a casual swipe, he deflected the CDs and fired another cannon shot, shattering Frenzy body. He then stomped down, grinding the Decepticon into scrap metal.
However, Frenzy had anticipated its fate.
In its final moments, its gaze swept across everyone present, attempting to transmit the scene via the network to its fellow Decepticons.
But Cyborg, constantly connected to the internet, intercepted the transmission without fail.
With a simple gesture, he deleted the data.
Bumblebee, observing the dynamic between the two, cast a surprised glance at Cyborg. It seemed he hadn't expected the half-human, half-machine before him to possess such exceptional hacking abilities.
This was not a talent typical of humans.
To some extent, Cyborg rivaled Bumblebee himself as a mechanical entity—there was almost no difference between them!
As Bumblebee gaze lingered on Cyborg metal frame, his evaluation of him quietly rose another notch.
Could this man be Earth strongest protector?
"It over," Cyborg said, marking the end of the battle.
Having settled everything, Cyborg turned to face Bumblebee.
"Let get back to our earlier conversation, Autobot."
Hovering in midair, Cyborg locked eyes with Bumblebee, his expression cold. "This is Earth, not Cybertron. If the Autobots want to establish themselves here, you'll need our permission."
"We never intended to stay here permanently."
Bumblebee responded decisively.
"Where is Optimus Prime?"
Suddenly, Anton stepped forward, drawing everyone attention.
Gazing up at the towering alien before him, he said calmly, "Bumblebee, your words don't carry weight. Have Optimus Prime meet with us. His appearance would show the sincerity the Autobots ought to demonstrate."
"Batman!"
In an instant, Bumblebee pulled up data on the man before him from the network.
Batman.
The leader of the Justice League.
What?
This man authority surpassed even Cyborg?
Cyborg deferred to him completely?
Could Batman be the strongest human?
One thought after another raced through Bumblebee mind. At the same time, another realization struck him, leaving him speechless.
Optimus Prime.
Bumblebee.
Batman knew not only his own name but also Optimus Prime.
This indicated that humans on Earth were far more knowledgeable than he had initially assumed. They didn't just know about Cybertron, the Autobots, and the Decepticons—they understood much more.
Wait!
Another thought occurred to Bumblebee.
Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons, had arrived on Earth thousands of years ago but had remained missing ever since.
Could it be…?
The more Bumblebee thought about it, the more unsettling the possibilities became. He stared at Batman, his mind racing with countless scenarios.
"Well?"
Anton stood motionless, his cape billowing behind him.
His expression remained unchanged as he spoke again, his tone steady. "Bumblebee, have you made up your mind?"
