Reunion

Opening the door, Primo saw a girl looking at the sky near the steel fence.

Looking behind her, the girl having a slim figure with long straight moon shadow-black hair that flows over her shoulder slowly hummed.

Walking towards her the girl heard his foot steps and turned around.

Facing her now she has a sculpted figure which was twine-thin. Her waist was tapered and she had a burnished complexion. A pair of arched eyebrows looked down on sweeping eyelashes. Her delicate ears framed a button nose. A set of dazzling, angel-white teeth gleamed as she blew gently on her carmine-red fingernails.

It was a pleasure to see her flowing, moon shadow-black hair. Her enticing, constellation-blue eyes gazed at me over her puffy, heart shaped lips.

"Hi there beautiful girl!"

Primo greeted the girl teasingly. Blushing, the girl didn't know what to answer and only stared at him.

"So Kate this may be that last time we see each other until we finish our training course."

Primo said to Kate.

Returning to her normal state Kate answered

"Yeah i think it is. You better train hard or our classmates would leave you behind."

"Even if they leave me behind i would be sure to train enough just to protect you."

Primo confidently answered.

"When did you start being cocky! Who need protection from whom! I'll be pretty sure to be strong enough to protect my self, thank you very much!"

Blushing and angrily she replied.

Primo stared and smiled at her.

After finishing high school every student is required to finish the 1 year training course so that they can protect them selves, even if they are not a Knighted after that. After taking the course their ability will be evaluated, then they will receive a rank accordingly to their ability level.

"So what do you want to talk about? Saying that you want to talk here it must be pretty important?"

Breaking the silence Kate spoke.

"Well I was hoping if we can talk about our plans after the taking the training course".

Primo answered.

"To be exact I still don't have thoughts about it. I was hoping I can be evaluated as a healer."

Kate jokingly replied. Even though Kate sounds like she was joking, Primo knows that Kate really want to be a healer.

He remembered in his past life while they were fighting with monsters in the future, Kate mentioned that he was envious of Primo's healing power. Even evaluated as a [Rank 2 - Knight] with a peak ability level 6 after the training, she really hated fighting in the front lines.

Healers are very rare. Out of every 1000, most likely there is only 1 evaluated as a healer. So even if a healer with a ability level of 1 they are still important.

"Well if you want to be a healer then I want to fight monsters. Any ability will do, as long as I can fight them."

Primo remembered that this is also what he said to Kate in his past life.

"And I will surely eliminate every last of them."

Looking at the skies he said.

"But even though I'm in the front lines I will be sure to rush back to you when you are in danger. I will protect you with everything I got."

Primo smiled and confidently said while staring at Kate's eyes.

Blushingly Kate realize that while she is staring at Primo her heart was flattering faster and faster. This is the first time she heard Primo talk like this. The boy who she considered only as a friend now looks like a real man in her eyes.

Series of memories flash by in Katie's head. She remembered a scene where Primo and her were still both little. Primo was always getting bullied by the big children because of his weak body. Even at junior high school he was a bread shuttle that is tasked to buy food in the canteen for the school bullies. And she was always by his side fighting and mocking those who are bullying him.

Now looking at him she was really the one protecting him and not the other way around. Even though she knows that it was only mindless boasting, the way his eyes look at her made her believe that he will do every word he have said.

"I'll be your Knight in shining armor my princess". Breaking the silence Primo spoke.

"Who needs protection from you. Maybe after the training I'll be the one protecting you!"

Kate puffing her cheeks she answered back.

They continued talking, chatting and conversing and not minding their surrounding for a while. As the sun goes down the beautiful harmony of colors like autumn flowed with clarity, the vast seemingly peaceful skies might not be this beautiful again. Their parents always said to them that always remember to appreciate every day of their life to it's fullest, because one day it might just end.

Because it was already dark they left the roof top and went home. Because Primo's house was near Kate's they always go home with each other after school, taking the same way.

Arriving home, Primo changed clothes and ate dinner with his family then going back to his room.

"I still have a week before the training course starts and I should also train my body before that."

Looking at the mirror, seing that his body is still the weak body he had.

Primo already planned on ways of how he can train his body to its fullest capacity before the training course starts.

Normally no one knows how to use their own power before the training course but that doesn't apply to Primo because he has his past memory and experience with him.

Because he can use his power to heal, he can train until his body gives up then healing himself again then repeating the cycle over and over again.

Sitting on his bed he closed his eyes and concentrated. Trying to unlock their power is really a hefty job, as the pain it took to unlock it normally people only tries to unlock it after the training is done and when their mind and body is ready to take on the pain.

Because Primo was a healer and the prerequisite for his power to heal them at their fullest is to feel the pain they are feeling at 1000 times. Comparing it to the pain that he is feeling now to then is like comparing a ant bite and someone trying to pull your intestines out.

Sweating like crazy his body began to glow and as the pain is gradually going down he knows that his power is beginning to awaken.

*BOOM!*

Just like a lightning struck the ground his room suddenly flashed with a bright light and loud sound.

Hearing the the loud noise his parents quickly went up and knocked at the door.

"Primo, Primo is everything okay there? What was that loud sound?!"

His mother asked while she knocks furiously at his door.

"Mom I'm okay. It's just that I fell from my bed while doing some stretching."

Primo explained, so his parents won't worry.

"Please be carefully next time. And go stretch at the floor and not at the bed as the bed sheets is really hard to wash."

After saying that to Primo they want back again to the living room.

As he already unlocked his healing magic that will later evolved to time manipulating ability he planned on what he should start doing for tomorrow. Satisfied with his plan he then went to bed.

Early in the morning wearing a jogging attire Primo was already sweating like hell.

"Damn i only ran 500m and this body is already giving up."

While he was resting, he was healing himself. today's plan was running a total of 25km. After healing himself and sobering up he started running again.

A few days have passed, every day he was still running and training his body only to stop to sleep and eat, as his body is already used to his training course, thus not requiring him to stop and heal himself and can now run while healing himself up.

"There are only 2 days left before the training course start. I should try on what my body can do for now."

Thinking of ways to test his body's current status he thought of an idea.

"I should try my luck going outside the wall and finding a wild monster."

Primo went home to prepare.

Because random gates appear out of nowhere no one knows if they are truly safe thus a weapon supplied for each member of a family are ready for use in every house.

Silently sneaking in the storage room while his mom and dad are working and his sister studying in her room, he took his sword out of the shelf then leaving quietly out of the house.

Arriving at the walls covering his face with a mask he was inspecting his equipment.

"Looks like everything is ready."

Preparing on sneaking out of the gate he was looking for a blind spot.

"Got it!"

He saw a spot which there no soldiers guarding it.

Quickly sneaking out, he is now at the other side of the wall.

"Now let's see how much i can do for now."
