Chapter 2

The next day. Jessica's parents left for work, leaving her with bread, jam, and tea. She rushed her breakfast so she wouldn't miss the bus.

Rushing into class A, she jumped at Josh, startling him but not forgetting to catch her.

"Gosh, you are so heavy," Josh complained, putting her down.

"Can I come to your football play?" Jessica pouted.

"I am guessing the guy is a football player," Josh said.

"That right," Jessica said, twirling her hair.

"Do what suits you," Josh said, gesturing for her to leave his class.

"So rude," Jessica rolled her eyes and left for class.

Jessica entered her class, class B. Settling down into her seat, she decided to focus on class. During chemistry theory class, her mind decides to remind her that she couldn't complete the daydream from yesterday, pulling her back into the realm.

*I shouldn't be here, but I need to complete the dream* Jessica's last thought

After going for three to four dates, a girl came in the middle of us, driving a wedge into our relationship. Jessica felt like she was losing control, seeing him drifting apart.

Jessica felt someone tap, pulling her from her mind. "didn't you hear there is a test; take your paper," the girl said, shoving it into my face.

"Rude," Jessica eyed her.

*What should I do now with this blank brain of mine? I shouldn't bother too much* Jessica thought, convincing herself she could make it.

After the text, she felt so drained; lucky for her, she didn't do any other test. After school, she went to see Josh's football practice. She found an empty seat and cheered for him and her crush quietly. She felt nervous since she planned to confess her feelings to him after practice.

Jessica didn't know when the practice ended, but she found herself facing Aiden.
