Inside a translucent golden dome, resided one of the most beautiful cities ever seen. All the buildings were several stories high and made of dark stone marbles that reflected the sunlight illuminating it outermost beauty.
The roofs were painted a pale blue, each one hosted a small spire holding a masterfully cut magic crystal on its top. Like most magical cities, this one was built in layers.
The most external one was outside the city walls. One could see farmers tending the lands that were devoid of snow despite the harsh climate. Small cottages were built in the proximities of the farmlands, from which one could see women and children taking care of their farm ranch.
Past the city walls, all the houses were made of stone brick. From the high ground, a person could distinguish a residential area, a market district, noble houses, and in the center of the city, there was a high castle.
The people were funnily clothed as they happily struggle with their daily duties.
Not even the series of arrays composing the golden dome could hide the mystical web enveloping the city. The spires with their mana crystals acted as relay points for some sort of complex magical formation.
Suddenly the bright sun outside the city disappeared, almost turning the former bright sky pitched black.
A dazzling light shone down, amidst the pitched black sky above the city wall, a lonely figure in a black hooded robe gently suspended itself mid-air.
