It had been a week since Elie's return to the Empire and she was continuing her duties as a substitute for the Emperor's adviser. Surely some papers were still smacking on her desk and she had to finish them before the Emperor attended the Lord's meeting.
"Sis Kae, I've solved the problems in the Norfolk Village area." She pushed aside the paper with the Norfolk village stamp on it.
Kae, who was tidying up the books in Elie's room, was distracted after Elie placed 6 sheets of paper that had been put together on the table beside that girl.
"I will give it to Knight Evgont, Princess Elie," Kae replied with a slight bow of his head.
Elie smiled. "Thanks for helping me, sis," she said.
Knock Knock...
The two women exchanged glances as they heard a knock at the door. As soon as the knocking stopped, Elie took off her glasses and placed them on a storage box.
Her amber irises pointed to the door of the room and her lips said something like, "Come in.
