Chapter 159

A handsome blond young man who was wearing a white coat appeared from behind the second prince. He had on a pleasant smile on his lips, looking graciously at me as if he just saved me from the spoiled second prince.

"Brother, please be aware of how you act in public." The young man, around seventeen or eighteen years old, reminded the second prince.

I raised the corners of my lips in a sarcastic smile.

"Amusing." I muttered making the second prince frown.

"I greet the eldest daughter of House Castellan and the vessel of the goddess Parsua." The blond prince greeted dramatically. "I am the crown prince, Galvis Javin Dela Elleveire. It's a pleasure to meet you my lady."

I gave him a disdainful gaze before lazily looking at the king.

"Athy is right." I remarked and went back to staring into space blankly.

The crown prince was stunned by my remark and awkwardly cleared his throat. He tried smiling at Uriel who replied with a heart-stopping smile.

How pretentious.

"Father," Galvis turned to his father with a polite smile. "mother looks tired, we should get her to rest in the tent first before greeting the nobles."

The king looked at him with contempt but he just replied with a polite smile. The king took one more look at mother who looked bored and nodded.

"I will see you later, Anastasia." He said before turning around to walk back, not even giving the queen who was behind him, any attention.

The second prince saw the king walk back, suddenly cried in arrogance.

"No! These people should kneel before us! How dare they disrespect us!" He cried and unsheathed the sword on his waist.

Ahhh.. I hate whinny kids.

I let out the bloodlust I was holding inside since the arrival of the king and stared at the second prince with contempt.

The king stopped on his tracks and turned back to look at me.

I walked forward and stood right in front of the second prince, smiling gently. He was trembling horribly from the pressure, his legs were shaking and he was sweating profusely. His eyes went wide when he saw me approach him. He was so scared that he dropped his sword and dropped to his knees still shaking.

I looked down on his kneeling form.

"Next time you dare to order us to kneel, I'll make sure that you will be kowtowing on the ground." I kindly warned him with a soft voice.

I walked back beside my mother and withdrew my killing intent. Everyone in the camp released a gasp of relief, as if they were choked and suddenly the hands that choked them released its grasp. Even the crown prince was not able to hide the surprise in his face, he even frowned before turning his back on me.

"Let's go back." Father said when the royals were close to their golden colored tent.

"Un." Uriel nodded. "We have to get ready for the wave of visitors that are about to come."

True enough, visitors started coming to our tent, the first one was Count Polit and his wife. They even brought their grandson, Maximillian, who was about Athy's age. He was a polite young man whom the couple is raising due to his parent dying at a young age. Countess Polit also invited mother to tea after the men leave to hunt. They stayed for a short time as there are still other nobles waiting to meet our parents.

The second visitor was Viscount Rutchel and his wife who was the same age as mother. She and mother hit it off at the tea party and she have been a regular guest during mother's tea party. I could say that they were friends. Viscountess Rutchel informed mother that she would also be attending Countess Polit's tea time later.

"You should bring the girls too, my children will be attending the tea time and they can play together." Viscountess Rutchel told my mother who turned to look at us.

"Excuse me me, Lady Rutchel, if I may ask, how old are your children?" Athy asked cutely.

Viscountess Rutchel looked at Athy with adoration.

"My eldest son, Levene, is eleven and he is training to become a knight like his father." She looked at her husband proudly. "Romeo, my second child is eight and my youngest daughter, Susan, is five."

"We're the same age, so I'll play with Susan." Athy declared emotionlessly. "Does she have a doll?"

"That would be lovely." Lady Rutchel said with an excited clap. "Annd yes, she brought her doll with her so you can play with your dolls."

Mother and Viscountess Rutchel smiled at each other, both agreeing to let the youngest girls play together.

Athy went back beside us and gave us a mocking smirk.

"I was invited by some ladies my age to play with them later, is that okay mother?" Uriel asked as she looked at mother.

"Okay, just make sure to bring your maids with you." Mother nodded and looked at me.

"I'll be busy." I shrugged.

Mother understood what I meant but I guess Lady Rutchel felt bad for me.

"You can go with my sons, lady Melody." She said with a smile. "The older kids were planning to have a sword spar while waiting for their fathers and older siblings."

"Thank you, Lady Rutchel." I smiled at her. "I will go and check it later."

"I'll tell my boys to come pick you up so you can go there together with them." She said excitedly that I didn't have the heart to decline.

Oh well, I guess I'll have something to do while waiting and not get stuck drinking tea with annoying young ladies.
