NEN (NARRATION)

I looked around me in the dark room I was thrown days ago so I don't know what time it is now, I remember when I saw the bloody trail of Zod's blood I felt guilty for involving him in this mess, and now he is dead!

I feel a little better because I eventually ate the food they were offering me I had no choice I felt like I was literally dying and I gave in,

Well the queen still comes and gloats to me reminding how Karth loves her and only her, she claims they are soul mates, then she would give a slap or two then she leaves,

One thing she thinks is that she gets to me with her gloating she tried to get to me by saying Karth will never come for me I will die here but I blocked it out, we were trained before joining security duty, they train us to not let anything manipulate you in line of battle, not to let any information change as you have to stay on course so whatever she says does not get to me at all,

I feel better in a way of I can stand and walk around though when she comes I pretend to be so weak sleep she thinks she has me right where she wants,

I have been planning to escape but it is still a little hard as there is a guard at the entrance I know there has to be it is common knowledge,

I used the stick they gave me to eat ___yes a stick I know it sharp enough because it goes through meat, I kept it just in case,

I sat back in silence and thought of Karth k really hope he is okay I miss him so much, j miss my brother too I also miss my friends I just wish I could see them again but well_______i know it is unlikely to happen I still have hope,

I looked up at the ceiling the room was so dark I wonder if he will come for me because I doubt he knows where the Dargoth tribe is located.

FARATH (NARRATION)

"Everyone you have to be on stand by okay this mission is dangerous because we may not make but we are of this tribe so we fight to get one of ours back, " I yelled out in the room and they all shouted back,

"FOR HNEREZ! "

I looked at Tora as she dressed up in her attire and I must say I am glad because it has been a while since she wore it,

"Yes I am fighting too we have to end the etocrite queen once and for all, " she said simply when she saw me looking at her and Leader Karth and Noth looked surprised too,

She is one of our best fighters but she had resigned to be in the tech support and she also did it well,

"So here is the plan Noth, Farath and I will cross the border and see if there are any threats keep your Rez close because we communicate by it as we have always done and then we give feedback you proceed got it, " Leader Karth said strictly and the security duty nodded,

We are leaving twenty security duty at the tower because we cannot leave our tribe unprotected and Elder Biron and the council are going to be here too,

"For Hnerez you will fight! For Hnerez you will yield! For Hnerez you will conquer! " Elder Biron said as he raised his stuff and lay on Karth's shoulder as he bowed to the elder,

We bowed too behind Karth and we stood up,

"Bring her back my boy! " Elder Biron said strongly and we nodded firmly too, the council members too gave us their blessings and we bowed but Karth didn't because he can only bow to the elders of the East as Leader,

The elders of the East who also guard Xasv have been here for generations and have been in security duty before we were even born and have served the previous leaders before Leader Karth so they have a lot of respect in our tribe,

Once the elders gave us their blessing we turned and we were on our way to the North,

We went to the train leading to the North

We sat on the train and there was little murmur here and there between the security duty I saw Tora sitted alone in the corner and she flipped her machine slowly,

I saw Sel talking to Caz who looked like he didn't want to be there probably worried about Nen but I believe we are going to bring her back and we shall all be happy again,

I stood looking around the train and I couldn't help but think of Santi, she said she wanted her friend to come back but she didn't want me to go, said she wouldn't know what to do if I didn't make it back and she was crying hard,

Flashback

She was sitted on the bed looking at me getting dressed up she looked sad and I felt bad because even the past few days she has not been seeing me we have had meetings here and there and I found when she was sleeping peacefully I could only kiss her goodnight,

"Baby I will be back I promise, " I said when I pulled her from bed and she looked away from me her beautiful face pouting and I didn't like it at all, I lifted her chin up and pecked her lips but she didn't kiss me back, I pulled away looking at her,

"Please don't go I can't lose you please, " she said in almost a whisper looking up at me pouting and my heart almost broke,

"I will be back I promise baby I love you so much don't forget that okay baby please don't cry, " I said touching her cheek wiping her tears and she touched my hand looking sad,

I slid my hands around her waist and I kissed her passionately and she kissed back with force it was like it was going to be our last time together, she rested her hands on my chest and I pulled away resting my forehead on hers and she breathed in,

"Bring Nen back, " she said softly her breath fanning my face and I smiled nodding my head that means she finally letting me go and I will fight hard just to get back to her

End of Flashback

"Hey you okay? " I saw Noth shaking me a little and I was surprised it was him because before he didn't seem like he really liked me we just tolerated each other per say, so to say that I have been shocked by the past days it is not an understatement,

"Yeah yeah I am okay I am just thinking of Santi that's all, " I said looking at him,

"Oh, " he replied smiling sheepishly and I frowned looking at him,

He then clapped his hand on my back and left to go sit by Tora, hmm I wonder what that was about.

NEN (NARRATION)

I looked around the huge hallway and there was no one so I walked slowly but then I heard footsteps coming and I panicked looking around seeing a pillar off the wall so I decided to hide there and I still heard the footsteps coming towards me and I felt my heart beating fast,

You may wonder how I got here earlier the guard opened up to bring me food,

SLIGHT FLASHBACK

"You better eat up the queen wants you alive, " the guard said and I nodded slowly but when he turned I jumped on his back and I stabbed him in the eye so deep that he collapsed,

I threw the stick away and I looked at him,

It is time to get out of here

END OF FLASHBACK

The steps went into another hallway this place is like a puzzle, hallways everywhere,

I walked slowly basically tiptoeing in the hallway I saw a door on the other far end and I ran to it grabbing it and I opened slowly,

The door led to a large hall with a throne, I remember this is where I was before they took me to the dark room, this is where she murdered Zod in cold blood, the problem is the throne room had three outlets so I didn't know which one to take I stood worried about where I should go but I knew I couldn't take the first one because it led to the dining area so I took the third one which was dark this place is like a maze though I have admit it looks nice for a place that has creatures,

When I got through to the other door I found one and I halted in shock, he just stood there looking at me,

"Ma'am why are you out here? " he asked simply and I gasped because he asked so politely, I was in shock because the only polite etocrite I have met was Zod he was so polite it almost felt like it was pretence,

"Umm _____" I didn't know what to say,

"If you are the queen's guest and you lost the way to your room I can help you find it, " he asked holding his books he looked so polite for a creature, I smiled a little in act,

"The queen______where is she? " I asked him and he sighed,

"She went out to meet someone today with one of my brothers I am just on royal duty, " he replied,

"And what is your name Sir? " I asked jokingly and he smiled, awww

"I am anything but a sir I am Sori, " he said slowly but I heard and I frowned,

"What for?" I asked because I was confused,

"No I am Sori, " he said and I was confused again,

"Why are you sorry? "I asked because I didn't want to make him uncomfortable,

"My name I am Sori, " he said again and I raised a brow,

"You are sorry you cannot tell me your name? " I asked very confused and he laughed softly,

"My name is Sori, " he said explaining to me and he laughed again and I joined him wow his name is Sori that's a funny name!

"We really confused each other there, " I laughed and he led me another door laughing,

"I am Nen by the way, " I said to him and he nodded slowly,

Just as he opened the door my smile left my face when we came face to face with Rik who smirked when he saw me,

"Well well well look who it is, Anensia nice to see you again, "he said smiling and glared at him,

"Sori leave now!" he commanded and Sori left with his head down,

"I really missed you Nen I didn't think I would run into you here though, " he said coming toward me and I backed up,

"Rik looks like you are still the bastard you were before nothing new there, " I said and he smiled,

"If you don't show me attitude who knows I could help you escape this place, " he said shrugging and I scoffed,

"Why would I trust you? You are sleeping with that psycho after all! "I said shrugging too and he chuckled darkly,

"I am going to lock you up again, " he said matter of factly,

"Let's see I always bested you in combat, " I said smirking and he glared at me, he suddenly lunged at me and I went down in time,

I blocked his punch that was coming straight to my face and I punched him and he stumbled back glaring at me while I smirked,

he threw punches and some reached because I felt like my bruises were forming when he kicked me in the stomach I felt down clutching my stomach,

"Bested I see, " he smiled grabbing my hair and I gasped in pain and I punched him in his neck forcing him to let go of my hair, I kicked his legs out and he fell down with a groan,

I went to punch him when my whole body went still, something was shot in my back and I couldn't do anything,

"Enough of this show, " the last thing I heard was her voice before passing out.

KARTH (NARRATION)

We finally arrived at the border and we jumped out of the train our tribe was covered in a protective shield that Tora apparently set up but then how could intruders keep coming in as they please, she placed her hand on the shield and it opened for the three of us to get out,

I looked back at Tora as she handed a small device to touch in case we need them and I nodded in understanding,

Noth, Farath and I walked forward over the Hnerez tribe border and we entered the Karan tribe,

We all looked at each other and we were off following the map Tora handed me.
