Celestial Face-off

I found myself residing within the heart of my celestial self which was two-third the size of Kendor's true self. Our eyes exchanged constant glares. Thus, a face-off between two celestials took place.

My mount stated, ""Master, you're underestimating me!""

I asked, ""HOW SO?!""

She said, ""You aren't unleashing your all. Please, stop treating me like an experimental subject!""

I responded, ""FINE!"", and closed my eyes. Kendor took advantage of the moment and tried to sneak up on me. But I had already exclaimed, ""PERCEPTION!!""

---fwoooo…sshh---

My darkening aura fluctuated around me like a cyclone. Kendor, who tried attacking me, got pushed back. After gritting her teeth, she looked at me. My celestial body underwent minor changes where the flames around the eyes and hair emanated black. Thus, my perspective shifted to that of my celestial self.

""Scroar!!!!"", she screamed charging forward. I did vice-versa but in my own way, ""ROAR!!!!""

---thud---

I implied a forward kick where the toe of my right foot went charging inwards but unfortunately, Kendor's mouth grappled my leg. However, the impact of my kick resulted in a power burst. The next instant, she swung me to the other side.

---crash---crash---crash---

I was smashed into a meteor. I tried to get up but was ambushed by three more meteors. What seemed weird was the size of the rocks.

[What? There are meteors surpassing the size of a celestial?

But this is my soul dimension. I've never made such gigantic boulders, though.]

My senses tingled, making me look above. Even more, meteors were falling downwards. All of them were slightly giving off a violet glow on the cracks. I then looked at Kendor who was still holding my leg. Her eyes were raging with violet flames.

[So she's controlling this entire space which I've made with her celestial aura? That's basically monopolizing someone else's property.

WAS THIS WHAT SHE MEANT WHEN SAYING CELESTIAL AURA IS VERY DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE?]

I summoned countless portals due to which the meteors that were about to crush me warped in different directions, thus crashing against one another and crumbling into pieces.

With a flick movement, I escaped from Kendor's jaws and spawned behind her. Before she could turn around, I surprised her with a kick on the side of her neck. It pushed her away from me.

At once, my palms clapped against each other, leading to a collision of an invisible wave. My mount was pushed further backwards. Kendor looked at the surrounding portals, ""Are these portals a part of your 'Perception' ability? Khe, this must be the tactic you used against that Scidra!""

I flipped out of a nearby portal, smacked her head with my left hand via a knife-hand strike and immediately flew into another portal.

I implied the same tactic four times if not replacing the strikes with a round kick, elbow hit, forehead clash and the descent of a left fist. I smiled in relief. However, my celestial mount received zero amount of damage. She exclaimed, ""Master, you did win against Scidra with this tactic!!""

I kept staring at her. She continued, ""However, he wasn't being himself at that time. He tried to imitate mortal techniques and invited his own defeat!""

---fwoooo…sshh---

In a flash, she unleashed her power like a bomb. All my portals nearby began dissipating due to excess heat from her body. I shook at the sight. That's when she stated, ""If he were fighting like a celestial, he would've used his celestial aura to get rid of these annoying warp gates!!""

[What the? I feel like my trait is being restricted to a certain extent. IS THIS ALSO BECAUSE OF HER CELESTIAL AURA?]

I then gritted my teeth in irritation.

With black flames forming claws out of my fingernails, I executed, ""CHRONICLES OF THE ABSOLUTE ABYSS!""

"!!!!", Kendor flinched at my words. But I spouted before she could make a response, ""RECORD 5: CHRONICLES TO THE ABSOLUTE ABYSS.

TECHNIQUE 1: 1ST CHRONICLE OF THE ABSOLUTE ABYSS!!""

My technique went through Kendor. I flicked past her. However, there was no impact.

[Huh, why isn't there any explosion?]

I tried looking back but,

Kendor sneaked upon my back by piercing her sharp fingers at the toes into my back. I jolted at the surprise attack.

---fwoooosshh---

With one flap of her wings, she exuded a lump of aura from her back. It led to us making a free fall. She was pushing me downwards. When I looked down, there seemed to be a sharp-edged and conical meteor double the size of my celestial self.

[She's trying to make me crash against that thing?]

---crash---

Too late, I crash-landed. Kendor pulled herself back. The giant meteor broke to pieces. However, its sharp edge remained in between the belly of my celestial form. I pulled out the penetrated rock and my celestial self began reshaping his opened belly.

That's when Kendor interrupted, ""I won't give you the time to recuperate, master!!!""

"!!!!", my eyes tingled, therefore making me look around again. Dozens of meteors with sharp conical edges locked onto me. I commented, ""... DAMN IT!""

The mount flapped her wings widely. 'Cause of that, all the stationed meteors charged at me. With no choice left, I closed my eyes.

At once, time began flowing slowly. My head kept spinning around until it reminded me of an event of the past.

{A few weeks ago, during vacation}

---clank---

Two anonymous figures in a vast grassland exchanged swords against one another. The one on the right emanated darkened yellow flames while the other unleashed a pure black aura with a dim glow of yellow shade around the edges of his body.

A third figure appeared out of nowhere. He held a longsword which bent like a whip. The other two people jumped back due to his sudden entry. Soon, the three figures came to a face-off stance. However, it was two against one, the two people being my shadow soldiers, Ikaris and Raymen while the one person standing opposite them was me.

Raymen attempted, "My liege, you have the second dark reigner's martial arts combined with your willpower and Perception. Why aren't you using any of them?!"

I said, "Because, that's too much for me to have!"

Ikaris asked, "Sorry, we didn't get you!!"

I interpreted amid looking at my right hand alongside a long dagger within it, "When I was fighting the dummy piece of the second dark reigner, every slash kept blowing him to smithereens. Similar case happened when fighting Scidra. It felt like everything ended so easily.

When I looked into it, I realized it was my traits that did more than what I intended to!!"

With a hard grip, I got into a fighting stance with my dagger hanging rightward. Raymen and Ikaris got onto their guards. I exclaimed, "Therefore, I'm trying to create a trait where my fighting power could stay under control and act as I say it to!"

With a flick movement, I spawned behind them, ""IN ORDER TO CREATE AN ABILITY LIKE THAT, I MUST HAVE MY OWN UNDERSTANDING ON WHAT COMBAT MEANS!""

---clang(x2)---

My weapon clanged against theirs making them fall backwards. They looked at me anxiously. I commented, "This won't do, start using your ultimate techniques!!"

And so, both the shadows gave it their all to stand against me. The next day was followed by fighting Hashan and the zooviyan beasts. The following day with Scidra fragments. And the latter with some other race. While fighting each kind, I had to use different tactics and patterns to improvise my combat power.

Since time could be manipulated however I want inside my soul dimension, I kept repeating the routine hundreds of thousands of times. Until my hunch brought me to an understanding.

After fighting and developing my own combat prowess for months, I came to a final conclusion. And that was…

The meteors almost reached me. With my eyes closed, I implied a backflip for dodging a meteor strike. Later, I kept jumping from one stone to another. Whenever a sharp edge closed the distance with me, I just dodged it with swift body movements. Kendor widened her eyes in utter disbelief. Her thoughts rambled into my head, 'What happened? He's dodging those sharp rocks without even making a sound. Moreover, his eyes are closed. What kind of techniques is he using?!!'

At once, I opened my eyes. Kendor flinched after looking at me, 'His eyes are glowing white? What is he using?!!'

My hands clapped, thereby producing an unbearable sound wave. Kendor writhed in agony, ""Scrooaar!!!!""

The surrounding meteors crumbled to pieces. As she said, the corneas of my eyes were emitting a white glow even though I was an infinito.

[The final conclusion that I came to…]

Kendor shook her head, trying to calm herself. She immediately charged at me. My mouth emphasized, ""SENSE OF MARTIALITY!!""

Suddenly, my celestial body exuded lumps of aura which felt more like an explosion. Kendor was once again pushed away, 'He's exuding even more power. Just what kind of ability did he create?!!'

She looked back to only find herself spellbound. My celestial self underwent a change where his eyes and hair that were burning black turned white. Instead of emitting darkened yellow flames, I brimmed with brightening yellow flames where the black shade of my aura turned white. Under constant chills, Kendor thought, 'A-an infinito is e-emitting light? Tha-that is impossible!!!'
