Another hour had passed until Saki ripped the bones of all elder wolves from their ribs and joints. But she too suffered a huge backlash. I said, "Quite tenacious, aren't you? You kept fighting even after losing your right arm!"

She panted, "Kugh, I thought you were controlling my instincts. It pained crazily, you know?!"

I emphasized, "I only assisted you the first time. Until now, you were fighting on your own!"

She cussed, "For f**k's sake, why isn't the portal closing off?!"

I told her, "Stupid mutt, what did your Artificiary panel tell you after killing their leader?!"

She responded, "It said I killed their King… King? Sigh, so there were two leaders. The King and Queen!"

---rumble---

The entire vicinity began shaking. Saki mumbled, "A single Sabre Wolf is causing this much impact? Don't tell me it's really as huge as a dinosaur?!"

I corrected her, "Yes, it is. A T-Rex's size at that!"

------rumble------

The wave of rumbling increased slowly. I said, "You'll have to fight it with only one arm!"

Immediately, she ripped the front leg of an elder wolf. And from that ripped limb, she peeled the muscular part to reduce the weight of the weapon.

At once, a giant wolf came out of the dungeon. Its battle cry was equivalent to the whole pack of wolves she fought in the first round. She had to raise her head to look at the queen monster.

Whilst quivering, Saki attempted, "Hey, Queen Wolf, why don't you tell me your weak spots?!!!"

---flash---

She charged in without a single idea about the opponent. After executing a slash, she jolted.

---clank---

Because it produced a metal sound. Saki realized, 'The elder wolves had harder fur than the normal ones. It's only natural for this queen to have even harder fur than these dead elders!!!'

---smash------crash---

Before she could jump back, the queen wolf sent her flying into the woods with one of its front legs. Saki crashed into the woods. The weapon she held was no longer in her possession. She mumbled, "Those elder wolves made me right-armless and now this queen wolf made me weaponless. How funny?!"

The queen wolf walked forward in her bloodthirsty mode. Saki got a hunch, 'Wait, earlier, a laser beam broke out of my finger and killed King Wolf!'

She trajected her left hand's index finger onto the queen wolf, "Damn it, why can't I remember that sensation?!", and realized, 'Oh yeah, Mr Drake made me do that. It is only normal for me to not know that!'

---crunch---

The queen wolf charged with its mouth. Saki jumped away from that blow due to which the rubble below her got crushed between the monster's jaws.

---smack------whump---

However, while she was in mid-air, the wolf's tail smacked her on the left side of her body. For the second time, she crashed into a couple of trees one after another.

"Cough, cough… ptoo!", black blood came out of her mouth while coughing. She spat out all the blood from her throat. After examining herself, she noticed the skin on the left part of her face missing. More than that, her muscles became partially visible on the left side. She chuckled, "How pathetic could I get?!"

The queen wolf started walking towards her. Saki slowly raised her only arm's index whilst trembling non-stop, "Ugh, pant, pant, phew… come on, my laser. Why can't you work?!"

---groooowwl---

The queen wolf started running straight forward. Saki turned crazily anxious, "Damn it, come on you motherf**king laser. Come out. Come out, come out, come out!!!"

The wolf bared its fangs at Saki. She shouted, ""Come out!!!!""

---pew---

With a sudden turn of events, a green laser beamed out of her finger. The monster received a critical hit on its right eye.

---grooooaan---

It writhed in agony. Saki became puzzled, "... Did I emit the same pressure as Mr Drake?!"

On the other side, I gaped at her in amazement.

[Haha, I thought it was her eyes that made me attracted to her. But to think it was her recklessness, she's no different from Zarene.

Wait, Zarene reincarnated as Zulova, right? Can a person reincarnate into two counterparts?]

I looked at the sky, "What is 'Fate' up to in this life?!"

Back to the fight, Saki received a notification.

She then exclaimed, ""Now it's my turn to cut the hell out of you!"", while emitting pressure. Her eyes emanated darkened green flames.

With those darkening flames, she struck the wolf non-stop in a wild state of mind. As her patternless punches and kicks hit the monster, it stepped backwards, trying to avoid her strikes.

Saki stretched her arm backwards, ""Now then, for the last strike-!""

---lub-dub---

Before she could land a strike, her heartbeat alarmed her. Kendor spouted, "She's too fatigued!"

I stared at the fight.

[Sigh, for a moment, I thought I was looking at Zarene. What a relief?]

---rip---

The queen wolf noticed Saki pausing for a moment. Taking advantage of her daze, it ripped apart the woman's other arm. Saki cried in pain, ""Aaaaaaghh!!!!"

She fell down, thinking, "Is this how my life ends?!"

The monster swallowed Saki's left arm. She examined herself being reduced to only two legs, "Damn it, I lost both arms. My legs lost their strength. What do I have in reserve?!"

Sounds of her costume dripped into her ears. She noticed herself being lifted by the monster's canines.

---flip---

The queen wolf threw her into mid-air and opened its mouth. Kendor spoke, "Master, we must step in. Otherwise, that wolf will swallow her!"

I replied, "Yeah, let's do that!"

Right when Saki got close to the jaws of the monster,

---beep---

she surprised me and my mount with an unpredictable move that was her landing ability.

---thwack---splatter---

She entered the wolf's mouth but broke out of its chest, making it splatter blood.

---grooooaan---

It rolled left and right in agony for a few moments and soon stopped moving. On the other hand, Saki got up and stood before the dead wolf. Looking at her back reminded me of someone from my past, "Zarene?!"

Kendor became puzzled. I snapped out of my daze, "Oh, let's get her back to one piece!"

"Pant, pant, pant, pant… I… won!!", Saki mumbled and collapsed. She saw me and Kendor coming towards her. With a smile, she exclaimed, "I did it, Mr Drake!"

I rubbed her head. She closed her eyes. I said, "Let's go back to the periphery!"

It was in the middle of the night. Saki was sleeping on the couch. Slowly, her eyes twitched. She muttered, "Hmm, a couch is supposed to be soft. Why do I feel like I'm on rock!"

Soon, her eyes opened, "Gasp!!", freaking her out. She was lying on top of my chest. I was still asleep. She thought, 'He is taller than me and ain't bulky. So what's with his physique? Should I see what's under those clothes?!'

She lifted my shirt up and peeked inside, "Oh my god, he got a perfect cutout with muscles!!!"

I told her, "Stop being a creep and get back to sleep!"

She flinched, "You're talking in your sleep??!"

I said, "Godly instincts are amazing!"

She flinched again, "All my torn limbs are attached back to me. I'm back to one piece!!"

---hug---

I caught her neck and pulled her towards my chest. She attempted, "I don't know who's being a creep here!"

Her thoughts rambled, 'His chest is as hard as iron… yet… I feel so warm!'

And so, she got caught up in the moment, henceforth going back to sleep.

It was the arrival of a new day. Grane, Xona and Sim who departed for their trials returned in tatters. Sim was holding his severed left arm in his right hand, Grane was holding his severed left ear whereas Xona had her right eye tied with a bandage. The three of them stood near the front yard. Kendor was having a morning cup, reading Kriassilis' book.

Sim attempted, "Xona, we could have reattached our torn parts using a healer. Why did you bring us here?!"

Xona interpreted, "That Saki lost half of her body trying to reach here. It was Mr Drake that brought her back to normal!"

Grane said, "Maybe, but our injuries aren't that critical!"

Xona ignored him, "Ms Kendor seems to be immersed in her book. Let's go inside. Lord Adrian must be awake!"

The three of them entered the house only to gasp in shock. They witnessed me sleeping on the couch while embracing Saki and Saki sleeping like a kitten. Grane asked, "Wh-what is happening?!"

Xona walked out of the house. Grane and Sim became puzzled. So they followed her. Sim asked, "Hey, why did run out of the house?!"

Xona emphasized, "Buddies, we saw nothing, okay?!"

Grane questioned, "What are you on about?!"

Xona emphasized with a scary look, "We saw nothing, right?!"

Her companions quivered, "... Yes, ma'am!!"

Kendor commented, "Not bad, you have sense!", and raised her right arm.

She executed a snap with her fingers which brought the cowmen to healthy state. Xona expressed her gratitude, "Thank you, Ms Kendor!"

Sim gasped, "Oh god, my hand is back to its position for free!!!"

Grane responded, "Yes, my ears reattached for free!!!"

Kendor spouted, "I too can do all silly tricks as long as they're under possession of my master!"

Saki woke up, "Haah… what's going outside?!"

I questioned, "Do you want to stay a little longer?!"

She flinched and jumped back, "Oh my god, I slept with you all day and night!!!"

I started walking upstairs, "I'm gonna take a shower. You too, get ready!"

She nodded with a shy look, "O-okay, sir!"
