CHAPTER 1

In the dark,damp alley of City X , a little girl sat on a pile of newspaper . Her clothes disheveled, lots of cuts on her white milky skin .She held a bun in her little dirty hands . She doesn't mind about her dirty hands because that was her first meal .Children of her age her allowed to go to school and have a three square meal without trouble,but she has to struggle before having a meal a day at her little age .

Her father had just sent her out of the house, saying "you wicked girl you'd better leave this house immediately before I strangle you to death , you've killed your mother,and now you want to kill me ".Her little heart trembled as she watch her father.

She was about to leave but remembered her mother's word "Courtney,my child,my beautiful butterfly, I'll always be there for you , I'll never leave you in this cruel cold world,I love you sweetheart".

She cried her eyes out till there was no tears left .

Now all she does all day is to beg for money,she has no shelter no food.

She sat down eating her bun , suddenly she heard footsteps and raised her head up but was hit on the head and lost consciousness.

It was a man , he had hitted her with a baseball bat and stuffed her in the back of the car.

They were human traffickers. The man had sighted her from afar two days before,he decided to try his luck again after two days .

Courtney's Pov

I don't know what happened to me but I felt a sharp pain on my head as soon as I raised my head up .

I had nothing to be afraid of , not even death ,my mother is dead, and my father doesn't want me .

I regained my consciousness and realized I was at the booth of the car.

The car kept moving at a high speed not wanting to stop .

Then suddenly the car stopped.The car was being accessed by the cops because it looked suspicious. Then I thought this is a good time to escape,and decided to shout for help .

I begin to shout for help , screaming and kicking . Suddenly the booth jerked open, I was shocked ,perhaps it's an old car.

I jumped out of the old car and wanted to run but I was dragged back ,and felt another sharp pain on my head and lost consciousness.
