A marriage talk ~ Part 1

The wind felt strong and it blew my hair in all kind of ways, I closed my wings around me and I started to fall down in an amazing speed. I closed my eyes and could only hear the sound of the wind pressure, it was in the that one split second that I opened my wings again I blew right back above, I floated above the sea, the waves got bigger as time passed and I started to fly back above them.

I didn't take long before I was back in the huge shell of ice that I called 'home' well, huge wasn't really the right word for it, even massiv didn't suit it, maybe gigantic?

I landed on a pile of ice and walked inside through the small path. It was cold inside and you could hear the wind everywhere, it made it look like a ghost town for some reason.

I walked through some tunnels to finally get where I wanted to be, back in the younger days did it take me forever to finally know where I needed to go, however it wasn't a problem anymore now.

It didn't take long or I stood with my bare foods in the cold snow, I walked for some time longer and than I started to use my wings to get in the air again, I flew above the trees and I started to see the huge alp where my dear mother was waiting for me.

I landed and I walked inside the tent and saw my mom with two little children.

"I'm back mother"

She looked up and showed me a very kind and tender smile.

"Welcome back dear, how was your time outside?"

"It was ok, can't say that I didn't enjoy it haha"

She looked at me with eyes that where full of questions however she didn't say anymore and she looked back at the two small… babies?

"Is something wrong with them mother?"

"No dear, but they didn't allow their mom to sleep so she asked us if I could take care of them for the night"

"I see…"

"Dear, I think it's time that we have a serious talk... "

"What do you mean mom? I'm only back for 2 minutes and we need to have a serious talk already?"

She looked stern at me which made it obvious that I couldn't escape this talk.

"Very well, what do we need to talk about?"

"We need to talk about you, your now an adult, you left only for one week after your 'coming-of-age ceremony' … and that worries me"

"Sorry, it was boring outside, I did leave to the woods however the smell of humans was very strong so I wanted to leave right away"

In all honesty I didn't expect that I would hate the smell of humans because I was once a human after all… It felt weird but after 17 years became it more than normal for me.

"Well since your this age already.. uhm.. shouldn't you be going around with the boys now?"

What?

"I always go with the boys mother? I have only boy friends as you know, so why this question?"

"Well… are you not… curious?"

"For what should I be curious mom?"

"Oh for phoenix sake, you're a woman now! It's time for you to fall in love with a guy and get married to have children.. are you really telling me now that you have no interest in that?"

How bad I just wanted to say yes to her… however her eyes showed me that this was bugging her for a very long time.

"I'm sorry mother, I made your worried" I lowered my head to her in some hope that this would make it somehow better.

"It's… alright"

"Mother I'm tired so will go and sleep first, tomorrow can we talk about my journey" I tried to ad a smile to that but that just failed the moment I tried.. I left it for what it was and walked to my fury bed.

The mirror still stood there and when I saw myself was I still surprised to see myself like this woman, long black straight hair, eyes that had a very beautiful color of dark blue, a skin that looked like porcelain, a flawless face in short… even the most beautiful model out of my world could not stand a chance to this face. However my body also looked good, everything that needed to be a little big was big and everything that needed to be slim was slim. However I should never forget those black horns on my head, they where long and in the did they curl toward me and back up, my wings were just as black however they were bigger and heavier than the wings of the other Dark Fey, they touched the ground whenever I was walking.

I putted the black dress on a small chair and I walked to my bed, tomorrow would she talk with her mother again.

But for now, let's sleep.
