I release a long satisfying sigh when the hot water hits my skin. The sensation of the steamy water calms my beast; relaxing the tension in our muscles. Dirt and dried blood flow down the drain as I bathe my skin clean. When I was sure that I cleanse myself of the reek smell of death; I twist the knob that control the water droplets. Cold air brush my skin once I step out the shower.

Claec amazing scent invade my senses as I wrap a towel around my body. He appeared at the bathroom door eyes going unnaturally dark; traveling slowly over my wet body. My stomach tighten as heat spread over my skin. I can feel my beast turn on her stomach giving all of her to our mate. A growl of agreement fell from my lips as I slowly stalk towards Claec. I smirk when his eyes only become darker the closer I get.

"Claec?"

"Huh," he simply replied, his eyes glowing with lust.

"Why are you looking at me with so much..." I pause, looking up to him with a delightful growl, "possession?"

He reach out with quick hands pulling me flush up against him. My beast whimper at the back of my mind for her male to take her. I moan at the gently touch of Claec experience hands that trace up my outer thighs. His lips brush mine. Not innocently, like a tease but hot, fiery, passionate, and demanding. I gasp with pleasure when he flicks his tongue over the sensitive area. My hands trail up his back into the nape of his neck pulling him even closer. I turned into a panting mess when his fingers found the folds of my lips. We were at his completely mercy as the need to feed the fire heighten the bond.

"Please, Claec," I groan rolling my hips against his fingers, "I can't take it anymore."

His beast push foward slamming me against the bathroom wall. The next thing I knew, he had crashes his lips to mine and nearly knocked all the wind from my lungs. My wolf hiss with pleasure pushing us into our mate embrace to deepen the kiss. Claec growl ripping the towel off to reveal my naked curvy body. I moan in approval as his hands travel every inch of me. Our ragged breathing filled the bathroom as we fought for dominance over the other. It wasn't long before we found ourselves stark naked on top of our bed.

Claec and I didn't even attempt to stop until a kock sound outside our door. A threatening growl fell from both our lips at the intrusion. I know damn well whoever the person is can smell our sex from down the hall.

"Malva!" Shade's unwaver voice filter through the door, "Get some clothes on we need to talk."

Claec look to me with a raise eyebrow and I'm sure my face mirror his. We quickly untangle ourselves and was dressed in a matter of minutes. My wolf slump down at the back of my mind with a satisfying exhaustion. Claec was just stepping out the bathroom fully dress as I open our bedroom door. I look to Alpha Shade with a innocent smile while he look to me with a blank expression. Ash glared at me behind him with a hand covering her nose from our smell. A smile grace my swollen lips as I push our bedroom door open even wider.

"Alpha," Claec acknowledged coming to stand behind me.

Ash clear her throat awkwardly as Shade dark soulless eyes stare at both of us in turn, "Claec. Go help your Luna with the meeting preparations. Malva will be there shortly."

Claec nod at his alpha's order and place a kiss at the top of my head before walking off down the hall.

"I'm sure we're not going to talk here?" I spoke after we stood a few moments in silence.

"Of course not," Ash growl.

"My office," our father ordered while stepping off down the hall.

I quickly shut my bed room door following right behind him next to Ash. My wolf and I shared a laugh when we caught the faint scent of sex lingering on Ash. We walk in complete silence through the pack house all the way to his office. Shade motion for us to take the seats in front of his desk, taking his seat behind his desk.

"This little rivalry going between you to is starting to get old," Ash and I could only stare in silence, "It's starting to effect the pack physically and mentally." Shade pause briefly to let his words sink before continuing, "I've resort into sending your mates to carry out your duties to the pack. Now, tell me, why do I find that a problem?"

"It shows a sign of weakness," Ash mumbles without hesitation with her head bowed.

"They're just as strong as us," I scuff without a thought, "but it could show disarray among our pack."

Ash head whip to me so fast I cradle my own neck, "but they aren't us, Malva. We are the future leaders of the Darkwolves; they are meant to stand by our side for a chance."

I rolled my eyes, "That's possibly the first time you ever admit that we'll be leading the Darkwolves together."

"The point is, you need to fall back in your place."

"What do you mean by that, sis?"

"Malva," Shade commanding voice interrupt our bickering, "you are pushing beyond your Beta role lately. Ash, as Alpha, has specific duties just like you, as Beta do. The Beta is not meant to question there Alpha's order unless it crucially involves endangering the pack. I've seen how well you two work together, but once you find something you don't agree with the bond is over."

I stare at him with my mouth almost hanging open at his words. Is he really putting the blame on me because I fight for what's best for the pack. Ash is the act first remisk later one while I'm the complete opposite. I've watched Beta Ink and he always states his opinion to his Alpha. He has become someone I've look up to. The one thing noticeable about him, to me and the pack, is his loyalty and hardship. A strong and worthy Beta to Alpha Shade. Maybe I've been looking at it all wrong?

My wolf rumbles lowly at disappointing her Alpha.

"I didn't know," my voice crack softly with my head now bowed shamefully.

Shade sighs sitting back into his seat, "the issue is easily fixable, Malva, learn your role as future Beta and you'll soon find your place on the right side of your future Alpha."

"And only then I can see us leading this pack together," Ash icky voice spoke with a hint of a smirk.

The darkness shutter inside me as I nod slowly in agreement.
