TROY'S POV

I made my way to the dungeons where Axel my beta was waiting for me. I had to question the rogue that was captured, I needed information no matter what. They almost got away with my mate, the thought of losing her felt torturous.

The cells were lined with silver, just in case prisoners had any funny ideas. We had a room for interrogation and sometimes torture, normally I wouldn't mind getting hands dirty but since I met my Aela all I wanted was to be around her. My wolf was very protective of her and I struggled to keep him at bay sometimes.

''Alpha'' Axel bent his head in respect

'Is he awake?'' I asked

Axel nodded in response and opened the door revealing the rogue handcuffed with silver sitting on a chair. I took the empty seat opposite the rogue, his bruises were healing slowly.

''Make this easy for both of us'' I said ''Tell me who sent you, and what your plan was''

The rogue looked at me with distaste but it didn't hide the fear radiating off him. We weren't called the BloodMoon pack for nothing, our wolves were dangerous when necessary, my reputation as a bloodthirsty Alpha preceded me.

'I don't know anything. Screw you'' he spat

My wolf snarled at the disrespect and our dominant aura filled the room. I directed most of it at him and he couldn't help but bare his neck in submission, struggling was futile. I could kill him in an instant, I wanted to, but I needed to know their plan no matter how little the information was.

''Let's try this again. Who sent you and what was your plan?''

The rogue remained silent stubbornly

''The hard way it is then'' I rolled up my sleeves and called out ''Beta!!''

Axel walked in with a small kit and placed it on the table separating the rogue from me before standing aside near the door. I opened the kit and brought out a syringe filled with wolfsbane. The rogue's eyes widened in fear as he struggled to free himself

''You're wasting your time'' I growled and stuck the needle in his arm, giving him a quarter of what was there. He threw his head back in pain and cried out. Wolfsbane was very toxic to wolves and if given large doses or not flushed out of the system, it led to death.

His face contorted in pain as he took deep breaths trying to adjust to the burning pain.

I got hold of one his fingers and bent it backwards, he yelled again and whimpered when he saw it wasn't healing, the wolfsbane was already working. He seemed to still hold his ground and I smiled.

''I have something that might change your mind'' I said going back to the kit, pulling out a four headed whip, each lined with silver and pliers. This made the rogue squirm some more, it was pathetic.

''Take his shirt off'' I ordered

Axel ripped the shirt off him and pushed him to the ground

''Who sent you?''

No reply, the whip landed on his back, the silver burning his skin and not letting it heal in addition with the wolfsbane. His cries didn't move me, I kept thinking about losing my mate, I would've gone to war, killed every last rogue till I found who took her.

A few more lashes and the wolf was begging for his life. I gave no response as I pulled his fingernail out with the plier.

''Please, I'm begging you. I'll tell you what I know... Please''

I paused briefly giving him the chance to speak

''I just know they were looking for something or someone. We were meant to be a distraction... Please that's all I know''

''Not good enough. Let's start with your toes '' I smirked

''No! Please I'm telling you the truth''

''Who sent you?'' asked Axel

''Our leader gave the order after he met with a bald guy, I don't know his name''

''This isn't helpful'' I said pulling one of his toe nails. He screamed in agony and begged some more.

''Tell the Alpha who and where your leader is'' barked Axel

''He doesn't stay in one place, he moves around and...he comes to us'' the rogue said tiredly

Suddenly, I felt a sort of pain but it wasn't from me, it was definitely Aela. She was good at putting barriers in her mind but sometimes slipped. This felt like one of those times, like the emotion escaped and passed through the bond.

Troy is everything okay?.. asked Axel through the link

I nodded ''who is your leader?''

'' I can't say...I ...I can't-''

''Can't or won't?'' Axel had grabbed him now ''tell us who he is''

The rogue started to twist and contort in pain before shivering violently.

''An Alpha command'' observed Axel.

Alpha's could command wolves who were below them into not revealing information, it was different from a normal order, the wolf being submissive to the Alpha has no choice but to obey. An attempt on breaking orders left the wolf in pain.

My wolf was agitated again

Go to our mate...he growled

I dashed back to the packhouse and straight upstairs. On reaching my floor, I could smell my mate, my wolf was on edge and we speedily barged into my room.
