Irene stood up from her chair, holding her stomach and a gun in her hand. She had taken the gun from one of the young men standing next to her.
Denis was shocked. Susan screamed, holding tightly on Denis
"You know. I should have done that a long time ago." Irene said, looking down on Mark lying dead on the ground.
She moved to look straight into Denis with some kind of hatred.
"You know, all this was a ploy to get you to feel guilty and love me back. I would not have killed you when it worked, but now, I don't see the reason to have you. If I can't have you, then nobody can." She shouted with bitterness
"You know. When you told me you have another woman, I thought I could live with that. At least I still had a chance of getting you somehow. But having a wife. No. I can't accept that," Irene said, taking difficult steps towards Denis.
