Chapter 36:

Before long Byakko came back and had various grievances about Kuroka being the only one getting a hug, as such Dante spent another half an hour hugging Byakko before Aurora came in and told them that dinner was done.

At the dinner table Azazel showed a face between amusement and fear as Byakko gave him death glares until Dante pet her head making her docile for about 30 seconds before she became hostile once more. To ensure nothing happened Dante and Azazel sat on the ends of the table with Byakko and Akeno to the left and right of Dante, next to Akeno was Kuroka much to Kuroka's displeasure, and Asia next to Byakko, and finally Aurora and Adalynn next to Azazel. For lack of better words it was an amusing dinner.

Azazel: "So Dante, I know the junior devil meeting is about to come around but I got some bad news."

Dante: "What is it?"

Azazel: "It looks like Kokabiel is going to make a move on the heiresses soon, to top it off it looks like he even has 3 of the 7 fragments of Excaliber. From my understanding he is working with Valper Galile the maniac priest that created and tried the accursed 'Holy Sword Project' there were only 2 survivors. One being Rias' knight Kiba Yuuto and the other being a girl named Tosca. Tosca is in a special condition because while her sacred gear protected her she is in a coma and on top of that, even though she is Kiba's age she still looks 11 years old."

Dante: "So that old war-mongering fart is finally making moves huh? I will tell this to you in advance Uncle Z, if he shows up here and causes trouble, I don't care if he is a Cadre, I will kill him. Is this fine with you?"

Azazel: "Hias… as much as I wish there was another way, I know Kokabiel will never change his war lusting ways. If you do kill him do me a favor and make it quick, don't drag it out."

Dante: "Very well. Moving on to the junior devil meeting, while I don't have evil pieces like the rest, I did come up with a suto-evil piece that can work for rating games so that I can still use a peerage. As for who is going to be on it, I plan on having myself, Byakko, Aurora, Adalynn, Nevan, Luna, Gladio, and Riaden. I thought of just using the 12 kings as my peerage but felt like that would just be bullying them, so I invited the two most battle hungry and Luna has been hounding me about letting her out, and Nevan just said she is participating regardless of my opinion."

Kuroka: "Hold on a minute! Why does Byakko get to have fun but not me?"

Dante: "Because she listens and won't try to molest me in the middle of a battle, also while you are not a wanted stray devil, there would not be a good response to your appearance."

Kuroka didn't know what to say as she knew that she would probably try to.

Azazel: "Not being a bully my ass. Just you alone is being a bully, to add to it you are adding a suto-celestial tiger, 2 high-class fallen angels, and 4 beings that are cheats in their very existence. The only one who might give you a challenge is Siaraorg Bael the so-called strongest youth, but that is assuming you are only using your natural strength."

Dante gave a small laugh and said nothing else.

After dinner Aurora, Adalynn, and Asia cleaned the table while Akeno and Azazel went to their rooms. Now Dante, Kuroka, and Byakko are in front of Dante's room.

Dante: "Byakko can stay if you stay in beast form and stay at the foot of the bed, Kuroka is a straight no. I am trying to relax for a bit because I am about to have a few big jobs coming up."

Kuroka: "Its not FAIR! How come she can stay but I can't? I have a beast form too!"

Dante: "As I said before, I see you as a sister and am not about to screw my own sister and due to some recent changes in my soul and mind I am in no mood to argue with you about having sex Kuroka. I say Byakko can stay because she will listen and the most she would do is move up the bed but, she wouldn't revert to her human form and try to have sex with me while I am asleep. Now, you can either accept this or I will truly send you away for now. I am being leanint by allowing you to stay in Kouh instead of just moving you away, so you can either A. stay in the hotel and come back first thing tomorrow morning; or B. I teleport you back to Hong Kong. Choose now so I can know whether or not to tell Veronica to not have Jane arrange your room."

Kuroka looked like she was hurt and almost on the verge of tears but finally caved and dropped her head in resignation.

Kuroka: *quietly* "I will stay out of your room, but can I at least stay in the house. I promise I won't sneak into your room in the middle of the night, I just don't want to be alone again."

Dante gave a tired sigh and figured that this was about all the punishing he could do before he started hurting his own heart.

Dante: "Fine, but I don't care if it was intentional or by accident if I find you in my room or in my bed at any time then you are going straight to Hong Kong no exceptions."

Dante: *yells toward kitchen* "Aurora, can you or Adalynn please prep a room for one more guest please and thank you."

Kuroka was still unhappy about not being able to sleep with him but still accepted this with a smile.

Dante gave Kuroka a kiss on the forehead before he and Byakko went to his room.

Dante: "Remember the deal."

Byakko didn't respond but instead shifted to her tiger form while being a bit smaller so she doesn't take up the entire bed and lays down at the foot of the bed before closing her eyes.

Dante gave a nod.

Dante: "Good night Byakko."

Byakko gave a small growl in response but nothing else. Dante said nothing else before climbing into the bed and dosing off.
