Chapter 21:

The next Monday when Akeno was about to walk to school she was met with a pleasant surprise, "Morning beautiful. Thought you would like a ride." Dante was leaning against Cavalire waiting for her outside her house. "Ara, Ara, I didn't expect my darling boyfriend to be so thoughtful." She smiled as she climbed on and was surprised when a small rush of energy passed through her. Before she could ask a helmet formed on her head that protected her face but still let her hair flow free. "This is Cavalire, one of my weapons that also happens to be a kick-ass motorcycle. Hold on tight beautiful were going to break a small record getting to school." Before Akeno could comment Dante started speeding down the road.

Normally it would be a 5-minute drive or 30 minute walk from Akeno's house to the academy, but Dante made the drive in less than 2 minutes. "Now how was that for speed." Dante chuckled seeing Akeno's face in a small daze, so he decided to give her a pack on the lips to wake her up. Akeno in response to this blushed furiously, "Awake now? We're here." Dante chuckled and Akeno just followed him in a daze and didn't even realize that they were being watched by a certain crimson-haired princess. "I will pick you up after club duties, just give me a call. After I won't be able to hang around because I got a call for work this afternoon okay?" Akeno now managing to calm down nodded in response, "See you later babe." Dante gave Akeno one last kiss on the cheek before walking off to work out in the weight room.

While Akeno was still trying to calm down she was ambushed by a bundle of crimson hair, "Akeno! What the hell is going on between you and Dante!!?" Akeno was fully woken up when she heard the question and regained her calm in an instant, "Ara, Ara, Rias is jealous? Anyway, after our date Dante asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes. As for what happened for me to say yes that is between me and Dante. You may be my king but that does not mean you own me because I have to admit Dante was right in regards to our power difference." Rias was shocked, Akeno had never spoken to her like this. 'What the hell did Dante say to her to make her like this?' she thought in a panic, but before she could speak again Akeno said, "I won't say what happened on our date and if you desperately need to know then ask Dante yourself because it is a very personal subject for him and it is not my place to speak about it. I will see you in class Rias." Without waiting for her to speak Akeno walked off in the direction of her class, while the crimson-haired princess was boiling over in confusion about what could have happened foe Akeno to speak to her like that and anger at Dante because she knew he had to be the cause.

After class Dante followed Akeno and Rias to the ORC building. "Why are you here?" Rias asked Dante clearly against his presence. He just gave a shrug, "I felt that since I have a bit of time to kill before I take Akeno home I would just spend it with her, if you plan on going to exterminate and rogues then I will follow along because I have nothing to do until around 7 o'clock anyway. Also, Akeno would you be a dear and get me a cup of tea." Akeno just gave a nod and walked off to go make some tea while Rias was almost about to blow up and just attack Dante. (A/N: Not that it would do anything lol.) When Akeno came back Rias held up her glass for Akeno to pour her some tea but Akeno just ignored her and poured Dante's first, this was Rias' last straw. "Okay! That's it! You are going to tell me exactly what you did to MY queen Dante! Right! NOW!" Rias' destruction aura was practically gushing out at this point. Akeno seemed very displeased by Rias' behavior but didn't say anything when she looked at Dante's clam attitude. "Fine, you want to know so badly? I took Akeno to a movie, then we went to 'The Devil's Golden Crown' for a nice dinner and talked for a while and after I took Akeno home. If you want to know what happens at my home then you will have to first be stronger than me, and second stop acting like a spoiled princess that expects everything to go her way without anyone saying different. Remember that I tolerate you because Akeno asked me to protect you as her boyfriend I respect her wishes, but don't mistake my kindness for weakness. Even if I am a very patient person I too have my limits and you will not like to see the results for crossing them. Do I make myself clear?" Dante slowly let out his demonic aura and it quickly devoured and overpowered Rias' to the point she was about to fall on her knees. "Dante that's enough. She has learned her lesson. Right Rias?" Akeno asked as Dante let up his aura. Akeno wasn't affected because Dante directed it only at Rias so if Akeno wasn't paying attention to her friend's actions she may not even know he was pressuring her. Rias on the other hand was sweating bullets like a minigun because she felt like there was a reaper's scythe at her throat when Dante released his aura. When she heard Akeno's question she gave a very meek nod and gave her friend a grateful look.

The rest of the time went without any problems and Rias was exceptionally quiet during the whole time. When it was time Dante took Akeno home and gave her a goodbye kiss as he drove off. When he left instead of going home he went to 'The Devil's Golden Crown' and went to his personal office. Once there he reached his floor he walked into his office and sat behind his desk.

After about 10 minutes the phone rang, "Hello, this is Devil May Cry, what do you require."
