C25: Soul Shock 2, Spooky Ooky Rex

As of me publishing this chapter. We are at 15 powerstones. I give yall the opportunity to get an extra chapter tomorrow and more details about future soul abilities I have planned. 75 stones to get extra chapter and knowledge of 1 future ability. 85 to learn both abilities and more to be able to propose a single ability and possibly even replace my own ideas.

After a long passionate night, Axel finds himself awake and in bed with two beauties lying on his arms. On his right is the perfectly naked purple haired beauty, his immortal goddess Raikou. She looks as if she didn't experience any great exercise due to asking Axel to clean her up with his magic. Meanwhile on his left is the slim but slightly dirty figure of a gray haired beauty, Syr Flova, who had passed out multiple times throughout the night as she drowned in pleasure. She never really got a chance to ask to be cleaned so she has been swimming in his seed.

Axel modifies his body to smoothly allow both of them to rest against the pillows while he goes to clean up and make breakfast. His cleanse spell makes it all easy while the few fire spells allow him to control the heat enough to cook exceptionally well. Probably not orgasmic, granted he has other ways of delivering that sort of pleasure to his ladies. Which they know very well through last night's activities.

It takes his lovers another hour to wake up as Raikou has to carry Syr to the kitchen table as her legs are full on jelly. Syr asks, "Could you drop by the hostess really quickly to tell them that I won't be able to come in for work today due to being injured during the plant monster attack and that you saved me, helping me heal. Ill hopefully be back by evening." She gives a casual lie that hopefully works against Mama Mia.

Axel nods and allows them to rest as he collects his gear to meet up with Welf and Daisy. They discuss the craziness of the situation yesterday as the trio line up at the dungeon like normal. Granted Axel did go to the hostess to tell Mia that Syr got injured when the monsters broke out of the ground the day before and that Syr would be back later in the day. Mia Grand can only accept that reason as yesterday was a complete disaster for the city. Axel had then met up with his team as they planned to go deeper and possibly even reach Rivira. This is a suggestion on Axel's part as he says that he gained a ton of stats from yesterday.

They decide to test his claim and with ease they reach the 10th floor and then they gradually witness Axel taking down infant dragons in just a few punches or a single cast of magic from the flame bolt spell.

As they make their way back to their limit at the 15th floor, Axel finds that he isn't getting any stronger from his gluttony skill so he can only assume that he has to progress further on and find stronger monsters to absorb from.

With the fifth floor, there is still the crystal mantis,hellhounds and dungeon worms but the most prominent showcasing is the minotaurs, super sized humanoid monsters with tough bodies and a bull like head, they work like goblins and kobolds where they actually wield weapons which is typically stone clubs or something but variants could possess stronger tools such as an adventurer's weapon. On the other hand is the Liger-Fangs, which is basically the monster version of a tiger that uses speed in addition to its strength to equal minotaurs on these floors. It will be just these 4 monsters until they reach the 17th floor which contains the goliath, the first monster rex.

As Axel has proved, he makes quick work of the dungeon worms and other previous floor monsters and he also makes quick work of the minotaurs but he is able to absorb a bit from them, likely their strength property. The group quickly reaches the end of the 16th floor and they agree that reaching the 18th floor would be the best course of action to rest and recover before returning.

The trio make their way down to the 17th floor is split up into 2 segments, the first is the regular area and then the 2nd half is the Goliaths arena.It's the same old monsters in the first half which mean they handle it with relative ease granted they are in larger numbers. Minotaurs work in groups here. The group did momentarily get lost but after a few bad corners they finally arrive at the goliath arena which opens up greatly to reveal the huge space and the giant crystalline like wall that houses the Goliath.

"Oh right, does anyone know when the rex is supposed to respawn? Maybe we could challenge it in the future. We don't have to beat it, just fight a bit and then retreat." Axel asks and proposes. Welf just shakes his head with a smile.

"You're probably the only one crazy enough to try fighting the goliath as a level 2."

"Yea, our group is too small to fight the goliath. If we see the rex, we should just run." Daisy responds as the only real voice of reason as Welf didn't exactly decline Axel's idea.

Axel is walking ahead of the group and is a bit excited to see what Rivira is like and sprints a bit ahead of the group into the goliaths arena when the room starts to shake. Daisy pales while Welf runs in to meet Axel who has stopped and is looking at the wall. Daisy can only follow as she doesnt want to be left alone where a minotaur could come by. From the crystal wall, cracks appear before a giant figure starts to break through.

Standing at nearly 23 ft tall (7 meters), the gray skinned, red-black eyed humanoid monster, which is fully naked (monsters don't have organs). The monster stands unarmed and once it is fully out of stone. It roars out a powerful shockwave-like roar where the trio have to cover their ears. Daisy begins to make her way to Rivira when the goliath grabs a fragment of the wall to slam into the arena exit. The crystals shatter but they pile up to block the passageway except for a small crawl space that one person can fit at a time. Axel and Welf see this and Axel yells out.

"Daisy get out, then Welf, ill keep it busy. Once you're both out, try to break the crystal so I can also get out quickly. I don't know if it will leave the pathway back open too and I don't want to leave myself open. So GO" he provides instruction as he summons a flamebolt to shoot out at the goliath to get its attention. Daisy would love to help but she isn't sure if her newer hand crossbow can even pierce the skin of the goliath.

She recognizes the need to run. She drops off her backpack in front of the crack available so that she can bring it through after her as she could not fit with it on.

Axel on the other hand is running around the goliath which has already regenerated part of it's hand that was partially pierced by the flamebolt. The goliath roars as it chases after Axel. It suddenly punched out at him but Axel was able to dodge before he chose to run towards the goliath that is bent down in the punching pose.

He jumps onto its arm and elongates his arms and turns them into blades while maintaining gluttony to shred the arm of the goliath as he runs up. As he does this, each cut is just minimally deeper and wider as he goes before he reaches the shoulder and reforms his arm to stab it like a needle into the goliath's eye. It had tried to sweep him off it's arm but he had dodged that and had even cut off nearly half a finger before he finally jammed his spear like fist into the goliath's eye.

ROOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRR.

The goliath roars out in pain when Axel finally brings his arm back and delivers a powerful punch with a strange glow surrounding his body and what seems like another set of fists overlaid onto his own which cause a proper shockwaves that both sends himself flying as well as sending the goliath crashing into the wall.

Axel is sent flying and crashes into the far wall opposite of the goliath. Welf approaches Axel and begins to yell at him, "Whats wrong. What happened there. HEY" He keeps trying to talk to Axel but his whole body is shaking, spasming to be more precise as Axel's mind itself remembers a certain time when he was shopping and he overheard a group of elves talking in their native language amongst each other. Their language morphs into another version of this and what comes out of Axel's mouth is, "I am the shade that once was. I am no longer alone but many now". A series of memories flow through his mind. A lone man, denied death, bound to a revenant who sought revenge. The two unified for this common goal and their bond created a wide array of abilities. Elvish chants flow through Axel's mind as they utilize unique magicks to subdue corruption.

He speaks the previous line in elvish.. From within Axel's many souls, one strand comes forth in response to the elvish call before linking up to the other activated fragments when Axel regains consciousness. He holds his head in pain as if he just overexerted 'mind' (equivalent of mana), an experience he has never known before due to always absorbing more energy to fuel him

(A/N: I tried to find a proper LoTR elvish translator but they all sucked and i couldn't actually bring in the symbolic elvish writing as that got autotranslated into = `B t#'. So yea, granted it all just looks like cursive i's and m's to me. Maybe a dot here or there over them to differentiate the different m's. It's like trying to read russian)

While Welf is trying to help Axel, the goliath which was slammed into the far wall is still unmoving, the wall behind it cracks and black liquid seeps out and spills onto the Goliaths body. The liquid seeps into its body, turning the originally gray skin black. It's hair grows a bit longer and it's body expands and it slowly gets up. But even as it gets up, becoming a half gray and half black goliath, it is not yet seeking out the challengers. Welf keeps looking at the goliath in fear and keeps calling out to Axel.

"Oi, are you ok?"

"Stop yelling, I have a headache, I overexerted my mind just now. Don't worry. I'm recovering." Axel says as he drinks a mind potion for what feels like the first time ever and reaches out to be brought up. Welf is about to grab his hand when an apparition appears that does it first and brings Axel up.

The apparition then merges into Axel's body, making it glow a bit. Welf had noticed that the apparition itself looked like Axel if he was an elf which really just means he had longer ears like most elves and his hair was white instead.the ghost glowed blue which was also the case on Axel when they merged.

"Go on to Daisy, start making an entrance for me If I start losing." Axel tells Welf as he points to the opening of the path that he should go through.

Axel looks to the half black goliath and spreads his arms out as he casually walks forward.

"Thanks for waiting, time for round 2"
