============
"Lefiya!"
Her eyes shot open, the brunette elf looked around in a daze. "w-whaa...?" She mumbled and saw her mentor, Riveria, letting out a sigh.
"good, you are okay." The elven princess said and helped her student stand up. She expected a big reaction, but she didn't expect her student to faint.
'not that I can fault you.' the elven princess thought and glanced at the detailed drawing of runes and their meaning.
Runes/Hieroglyphs, the magic of Gods...well, part of it.
As a high-elf princess, Riveria had been taught how to write and read the hieroglyphs that the Gods use to inscribe the falna on the backs of their children. It's a complicated language, and despite studying it for 89 years she still had some trouble with understanding some of the more complex grammatical parts of it.
But the one she has been taught was nothing more than what can be considered the "common language" the Gods use! Something they created so they can keep the secrets of runework from their Pantheon! The "common language" of Gods, holds no magic. It's simply runes that require a lot of effort to learn! unless you have a God mind that is...
But, Bell Cranel...their new recruit.
He is able to utilize runes in his magic. He can use, even if partly, the knowledge that belongs to the Gods. The only question is...which pantheon did the runes come from? Riveria doesn't even know how to find the answer to that question. She didn't even know how this was possible, to begin with!
'Ainz Oowl Gown.' she recalled the name that Bell revealed when Loki questioned him.
Maybe...No surely not...
'is Bell teacher a God who descends from heaven?' This...this could be possible...!
Who else could teach the knowledge of Gods if not a God itself! A God named Ainz...she will need to make some research about this.
Of course, she can always take the easy way and ask Loki for information, but Riveria was afraid of how the Goddess may react on a mortal using the knowledge of Gods. No. For now, she will keep quiet about this.
What Riveria didn't know, is that Loki already knew.
I can't help but think we got a little sidetracked. Where were we? Ah! yes, Lefiya fainting. Or rather, waking up from fainting!
"This..." the brunette elf began as she held one of the notes that Riveria got from Bell. "This is not fair at all." She whispered, her jealousy growing three times before collapsing into a black hole of negative feelings. All aimed at Bell.
Lefiya slapped herself. HARD.
Riveria observed her student silently.
In an instant, all the negative feelings for Bell immediately found a new target...herself. Tears gathered in her eyes as she caressed her stinging cheek. Her mind was in turmoil, but she was calmed down by Riveria, who affectionately pats her head.
"Well I only know as much as Bell taught me, so I still don't know much. But since he allowed you to learn this, then I'm more than happy to teach you what I understand so far." The elven princess said and got a nod in return.
Lefiya had no intention of wasting this opportunity. She came here to learn, be better, reach higher so she can stand on equal footing with Aiz and everyone else in her party. There is no chance in hell that she would allow herself to miss such an occasion!
'I *WILL* repay you Cranel. weather you like it or not!'

"Freya! how is my 4th favorite friend doing?" Said the loud, and slightly drunk Loki as she appeared right beside the throne of the love goddess.
"I'm doing fine Loki, thank you for asking." Freya replied without missing a beat, as she used her spying mirror to watch a bunch of adventurers fight for their lives on the 12th floor.
"Good, good. Hey, look at this and tell me what ya think!" Loki then took out a drawing she made. It was the drawing of the summoning circle that tends to manifest whenever Bell summons his angels. There was obvious runework involved, and Loki thanked the heavens that both Riveria and Lefiya were too mystified by Bell summoned angel to notice the rather obvious rune magic that he used when summoning it.
The love goddess gaze moved from her mirror to the piece of paper that the fellow goddess of her pantheon was holding. What she saw was a glyph or magic circle with Norse runework added to it.
(A/N: tier magic comes from the MMORPG "Yggdrasill", the title is a reference to a mythical tree from Norse mythology. So I'm assuming that since the game had such a title, it is also plausible that there was other Norse-related stuff in it...runes included. And Loki is a Norse Goddess.)
Letting out a soft hum, she took the paper from Loki hand and gave it a closer look. It was a simplistic design, with not much going on in it. Very simple and straight to the point.
Although, there is one thing that made her confused.
"you made a spell that summons one of Jahwe angels?" To say that Freya was confused would be an understatement. But she was also, very impressed. To summon another God power without using that God runework or language was an impressive feat.
"Nope, my new child is a natural-born human mage, and his master taught him this spell." Loki stated with a dumb grin on her face that contrasted heavily with the serious expression that Freya gained once she heard this.
"and that Master name is...?"
"My Bun-Bun said that he was named Ainz Oowl Gown, but also goes by Momonga. Ring any bells?"
"I do not know any God with such a name." The love Goddess sighed.
The trickster goddess laughed. "yeah, I expected that." Taking back the piece of paper, Loki burned it and finally adopted a serious face. "I need to ask you a favor."
Freya calmly swirled the glass of wine in her hand. She can already see where this is going, and it made her Roll her eyes at her fellow goddess. "Loki, your new child got that knowledge from someone else. Not you. Both you and he are safe from the Heavenly pact." The love goddess stated and took a sip from her wine-filled glass.
"oh, I know that nothing endangers me or my Bun-Bun from other Gods...but what about mortals? A human mage, who is 14 years old can use the magic of Gods! I can declare that I didn't teach him, but that doesn't mean they will believe me!" Not that she would blame them. That WOULD be rather hard to believe. "And even if they would believe me, that still doesn't change the fact that some mages would be more than okay with the idea of forcing the information out of him!" That thought made her shiver.
"you speak as if mortals HAVE to know that your child uses the magic of the gods."
Loki sighed. "all his spells look normal...except his summoning magic. The magic circle that I showed your earlier literally manifests in the physical world and acts as a gateway. It is only a matter of time until he finds himself in a situation where the cat is out of the bag."
Freya let out a quiet "oh."
"So!" Loki looked Freya straight in the eye. "will you help me or not?"
The love goddess looked calmly at the trickster. She swirled her glass of wine a couple more times before she downed it all in one go. Never losing the elegant, and delicate image while doing so.
"Very well." Despite the good news, Loki's face remained calm, waiting for something. "but it will cost you." after all, there is no such thing as a free lunch in this world.
"anything."
Freya extended her hand. Loki grasped it. A faint glow illuminated their hands before it disappeared.
The deal has been sealed.
"What help do you require my dear trickster? I'm quite curious about your new scheme" The love goddess giggled and leaned forward in curiosity.
The next words that came out of Loki mouth made her grimace
"I want you to tell me where Odin is."
