Selwynn crushed the cigarette into the crystal ashtray and stood up, staring at Aston blankly.
"What does that have to do with me?"
He pointed at the door, "If there is nowhere to stay, sleep on the streets."
"Get out." His voice was calm but filled with unmistakable command.
Aston showed an extremely hurt expression, "It's so cold outside, I might accidentally freeze to death. If I don't make it through the night, how can I serve you in the morning."
He ignored the slightly ambiguous wordings and focused on the meaning. This irritated Selwynn even more. He suddenly narrowed his gaze and there was a dangerous cold light in his eyes. "Are you threatening me?"
Innocently showing his palms, Aston laughed, "No. How could I dare to? I'm simply begging the generous Mr Arlington to help out a poor man like me."
In fact, Aston wasn't lying. On most missions, he would directly find the target, get the information he needed and leave.
