"You sure look tired," Cyris said as the rain stopped falling and she walked to her car.

"I have not been sleeping well lately, I will be fine though, also can you stop by the castle later on for your jacket?" she asked and he smiled.

"I will now let's go, we don't want to be late, also my sister would like to take you on a double date with someone, she says you need a guy in your life," he said and Lyra frowned.

"I will complain, that's not gonna happen, I am never going on any date with a random guy, never, I will kill her," she replied and he laughed as he got onto his fancy motorbike.

"See you," he said as she got into the car and both of them left at the same time.

"Your highness, may I ask a question?" the driver asked as they drove past a bunch of fancy buildings and other kids rushing to go to school.

"Sure, go ahead," she responded.

"Have you really accepted the others as your siblings?" he asked and her eyes widened as she stared at him then a soft smile appeared on her face.

"I guess I have, it was hard at first but then as time went by things just got better," she responded and the driver smiled.

"You are a great person, the kindest of them all, I only wish happiness your way my lady, we are here," he said as he drove into a fancy yard surrounded by guards and a huge fancy glass building in the center, the academy was surrounded by mountains and was not far away from the castle.

"Thank you," she said as she got out of the car, as other students stared at her as they drove in with their flashy cars, for the royal academy had few poor students.

"I'll see you after school," he said as the princess entered the massive glass structure.

The academy had every subject and teacher imaginable, as well as various clubs and sports; one could even learn certain skills such as sword fighting there.

As she walked to her classroom she heard someone calling out her name and when she turned around, a girl was charging at her like a wild horse with papers in her hands.

"Hey, slow down," the princess murmured, grabbing the girl's arm and pulling her back to prevent her from falling.

"Thank you, here, I broke down a lot of things, you can study from these, we don't have much work to do these days, on the days that we don't have an exam on a certain subject, they will give us tasks to do and do revision with us which is important, we don't have to take exams every day, they are taking it slow because we have a little while more until the term ends," the girl said without taking a breath, and the princess sighed.

"Are you human, Celia?" she asked, staring at the panting girl, and Cyris approached them, placing his arm around Celia.

Celia pouted as he said, "I don't think my sister is a human princess."

"Ha, ha, ha, I'm just helping, unlike you Cyris," she said as she waved her short black hair and a smile appeared on her face as her brown eyes shimmered.

Celia was a beautiful and slim brunette who enjoyed gaming and hanging out with her friends but took her studies seriously despite her attractiveness.

"Woah, you're wet," Celia said as she passed a few sheets of paper to both Cyris and Lyra.

Celia and Cyris were step-siblings; they were the same age which was 18 just like the princess, but Cyris had a different mother than Ceila; his father remarried Ceila's mother but that was long after his wife died and Cyris was just a child along with Celia, her mother divorced her father for lack of taking care of his child with her and for alcohol addiction; the siblings got along fine, loved and cared for each other despite their differences they were both happy to have each other.

"Oh sis, she was playing in the rain, and she almost got hit by a speeding vehicle, which was not her fault," Cyris said as Celia stared at the princess like a raging bull and Lyra smiled nervously.

"What is your water addiction? Do you intend to leave us soon? I'm going to punch you, Lyra, you're my best friend, please be more careful "Celia stated as she leaned forward and tightly hugged Lyra.

"I'm fine, thank you, and thank your brother, I'm safe, he saved me," Lyra said as Celia smiled brightly.

"I'm glad you're okay; come on, let's get to class," Ceila said as the bell rang and everyone dashed to their respective classrooms.

Lyra sat by the window corner in her classroom, looking out as the rain began to fall again and the wind blew bitterly cold.

"I hope I don't catch a cold," she thought as she removed her jacket with her clothes already half-dry.

"Lyra, here," Celia said as she handed Lyra a bottle, which the girl took.

'What exactly is this?" Lyra questioned.

"It's hot chocolate that Mom made for us this morning, I got two bottles, and it's still warm," she explained.

"Thank you, Celia," she said as she opened the bottle and drank the hot chocolate. After she finished, the teacher entered the classroom and bowed her head in respect to Lyra, who smiled back, then they all stood up and wished the teacher good morning.

"Good morning, kids; you all look lovely today; now I will mark the register; then we will begin our revision for this morning and talk about your projects, there are a few mistakes that need to be clarified, each teacher will do that for each subject; pop quizzes will begin on the days you do not have an exam, is that clear?" She inquired.

"Yes, ma'am," they all replied, and the teacher smiled brightly as she noticed a bustling classroom.
