Trade Empire Pt. 3: Vs. Oden

As the stone hit the ground we both launched at each other with Oden using his Twin Sword Style while I on the other hand was using the Iai style of swordmanship that focused on speed and unpredictability of strikes.

*CLASH!*

A loud sound of our blades met with one another, though to the keen observer you would see that we both had our arms covered in Armament Haki, or to the people of Wano known as Ryou, but while Odens blades were coated in it, mine was not.

After the clash we both slid back from the force, but Oden grinned even more, "Interesting! Even without being coated in Ryou your blade was able to fend off my Enma and Habakiri, it must be an extraordinary blade to preform such a feat!" He said in admiration of my sword.

"Heh, but of course while it may not be one of the Supreme grade Blades of this world it can easily rival them, after all my Yamato can cut through space itself, after all how do you think I reached Wano without a ship?" I say back as I gave him the name of my sword and how it helped me come to his country.

I could see the shock on his face when he heard that, but seeing I had no need to lie he just grinned, "Then Come! I want to see this sword as it cuts apart space!"

"Really? Alright well…." I say before I crouch low as I firmly hold the blade in my right hand and the sheathe in my left as I unleash a pressure wave from me reinforcing my body with both Armament and Conquers Haki.

Seeing this he just smiled as he put his full focus into defense while his retainers up on the walls watching this all could barely keep standing with Izou and Kiku sitting on the ground as even if it wasn't directed at them still scared them all.

"…. Don't say I didn't warn you." I said before I disappeared before his eyes, but before he could register what had happened he felt a slash coming from his left just giving him barely anytime to react and and least redirect it slightly to not hurt him severely.

But then Oden fell under a barrage of attack as he couldn't see where I was attacking from with his observation haki just barely being able to tell him of where the next strike was coming from, but not enough time to give him room to outright stop my attacks.

"Wait…. What's happening? Is this…. Cutting space?" Kin'emon said as he got everyone else's attention as they saw lines just standing in the air surrounding Oden as it made him look like to outside observers that he was within shattered pieces of glass.

Oden could see this to but with my unrelenting assault on him he wasn't able to move lest he leave himself wide open for an attack to hit, so all he could do was keep blocking.

After about a minute of an unending assault on him and several cuts across his body I finally reappeared as I appeared in one leg kneeling position as I slid the sword slowly into its sheathe.

*Shhhiiiiii*

"Judgement…"

*Clink*

"Cut!"

And with the sound of my sword fully sheathing itself Oden was instantly barraged with all of the attacks I had launched at him before, but happening all at the same time as the very space broke from the attack.

"GUHKAH!!!" Oden, even being as strong as he is, couldn't completely mitigate the incoming damage from my Judgement Cut infused with Advanced Armament Haki.

"Oden-sama!" His retainers shouted out in horror at seeing the massive damage that was done to his body, well it at least looked like massive damage to them.

But after coughing out some blood, Oden still stood strong as he turned to look at me as the upper part of his yukata fell apart leaving his chest bare.

"So that was cutting space Huh? Well I think that might have killed me if you were serious about wanting me dead, etetetete." He said before wincing in pain as the wounds still did damage, even if they were shallow.

"Well I don't want to get the Shogun to come after me for killing his son, besides this is just a friendly duel, not a death match." I say as I get back up and look at him as I see the blood drip down his body.

"Wahahaha, Ow, I doubt my old man would hunt you down, besides I won't die unless I say so!" He laughed with a wide smile on his face even though his body was still covered in bleeding wounds.

"Well, do you want to continue? I showed you one of my moves, it's the least I can do is let you use one of yours." I offer back to him as I get into a defensive posture.

"Oh? Well prepare yourself because this attack will be one of my strongest!" He shouts as he covers his blades and arms in thick armament haki before crossing his arms with each blade on either side of him before he charged right towards me.

I maximized my defenses to the limit around my arms, blade and torso as he reached me before unleashing his attack.

"Tougen Shirataki!" He shouts as he fully unleashed his attack on me as he releases two simultaneous diagonal slashes right at me with both immense strength and speed.

"UGH!" I grunt out in pain as I take on the full power of his attack as it makes me begin to skid backwards as the air blades from the slash itself are moving me back before slamming me into a tree.

*Creak Creak Crack*

The tree that was behind me was struggling to hold back the pushing force that was still effecting my body and soon it would give way if I didn't do something.

"Ugh! Don't think this will stop me that easily! HAAAAA!" I shout out as I put all my strength unpowered with my Armament Haki and my immense Endurance to forcibly change the direction of the attack to make it fly skywards.

*SHOOOMMMM!!!*

It headed straight upwards, cutting through the tree tops before going so high that it parted some of the lower cloud layer before his attack dissipated entirely.

"Haahaaahaa…. Hahahahaha, looks like I was able to deflect it….. man that took the wind out of me….." I said grabbing at my chest with my free hand as I looked over at Oden who was still smiling all the long as he walked up to me after putting his blades away.

"Wahahaha! You really are strong, your the first person to ever block one of my all out attacks like that." He said before he patted my back.

"I like you Hifumi! Now come on inside, you entertained me with a fun duel so I should hear about what you came to discuss with me about and you can tell me about places in the outside world and some of the adventures you had!" He said as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder as he lead me to his castle.

'…. He's getting blood all over my white haori, well not like I can't just get it out later with some cleaning magic.' I think to myself as me and Oden go inside of his castle to discuss about why I'm here.

I'd like to clarify some things, I don't know if some of you will think this but if you do think the Oden is 'weak' in this chapter then that is the case.

This is Oden before he goes out with WhiteBeard and Roger to see the world so I believe in his travels he gets much stronger than himself before going out on his adventures and that's why he is 'weaker' at this point in time.

I say he hit his peak strength during the time when he battled Kaidou to leave the massive scar on his body, at this point he isn't that strong yet but will get there soon enough.
