“Hey, HeY? CaN YoU SeE uS?”

'Just ignore it Just ignore it Just ignore it Just ignore it Just ignore it Just ignore it Just ignore it Just ignore it Just ignore it' the young woman was repeating like a mantra within her own head as she was surrounded by this large group of horrifying ghosts as she was playing with her phone to not pay attention to it at all.

"Hey, HeY, hEY? CAn yOu sEe US?!" *Rapt tap tap, Rapt tap tap* "SCCCCCRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" Those 'things' that could be vaguely considered human were doing anything to get the girls attention, but she was doing her damdest to just ignore them.

'Please, please, please, just go away and leave me alone! I don't see you alright?!' She was screaming internally as she was fiddling with her phone to distract herself from the scary situation she found herself in.

This had started several weeks ago that she got the ability to see these things for no reason whatsoever and all she could really do was just decide to ignore them and act as if nothing had ever happened when dealing with these things so they wouldn't attack her as so long as you don't notice they can't do anything to you, is what she thought at least.

And while for weak malevolent spirits such as these it's true, but the really strong ones, even if you never saw them they can still lead people to misfortune and death as a result.

But even the weak ones can kill or even possess a person if given the opportunity to do so, but only if they are seen by humans or else they can't do anything as a result.

*Jingle Tingle* I could faintly hear the sound of bells ringing nearby, 'So she has already made a deal with that false god' as the sound of bells is the only hint I have as to what point in the story she is currently at, which would put her anywhere between volumes 4 and 6 as the false god hasn't been dealt with yet.

"You guys really don't know when to leave someone alone when they clearly can't see you now can you? How annoying." I respond as I start to genuinely approach her, which made her turn to look at me in shock while the monstrosity's in the shape of humans turned their heads, some a full 180 degrees to stare at me.

While the monstrosity's saw me as nothing but a human who could see them, Miko saw differently, all she saw was the outline of a rather fat man but inside of his body was what could only be described as a spinning blackhole in his chest while all throughout his body was the equivalent of hundreds of thousands of stars and galaxy's across his body and in place of his eyes were just white dots with a white line for his mouth as he stared right at her and straight through her.

"Oi, Oi, Oi, YoU SeE uS?! YOU SEE US!!!!" One shouted out as one pointed its arm at me which instantly riled up the others who all began to charge at me.

But even though it was scary, like really scary to see this shit, I stood firm as I knew that nothing they could do could even remotely harm me.

And it soon became apparent to the shocked eyes of Miko who was worried about the man who came to her aid as she saw the ghosts suddenly and brutally being ripped apart before being sucked into that bottomless blackhole within the man's chest.

But as they were all rather dumb and simple spirits they all kept charging at me with reckless abandon as they simultaneously got destroyed until there was none left whatsoever before I turned and looked at the girl who was staring at me with wide eyes full of shock at what she saw.

"Well, looks like their all gone, you alright?" I say while I'm sighing with relief on the inside, I was nervous as all hell, but it seems the power of the Anti-Spiral acts like a blackhole for spirits if the come anywhere near me, though if I extend it, it would be a great weapon to attack them with compared to Spiral Power which is more inclined to deal with physical beings for the most part.

But she was scared to complete silence as she watched this figure approach her as she wasn't sure if the thing coming at her was real or not, though compared to all the ghosts she has seen, this is the first one that looked the most mysterious of them all.

"Haha, it's like you have seen a ghost." I say to her with a chuckle as I pat her shoulder which makes her flinch in surprise that I was able to touch her.

"!!! You…. You can touch me?" I could see the look of absolute bafflement on her face that this things she was seeing was actually real.

"Well yeah, I'm not one of those things that were hounding you after all." I say before standing up and offering my hand which she cautiously takes before having herself pulled up, but she quickly takes a step back.

"Huh, I don't think I'm that scary looking, I mean I'm a bit fat right now but I'm working on losing weight you know, but if I had to guess, you can see the energy in me and it's giving a strange shape to my body right?" I said as I grabbed my stomach that was a bit fat on it as I jiggled it to seem a bit funny as I tried to seal my power deep within my body.

Doing so drained the black inky substance that was on my body to reveal my true looks as it all covered back to my heart making my heart look like to her it was holding a whole galaxy within it so she could truly see me.

"You…. You really are just a normal person…. But you have the power, the power to fight those things right?" She asks me as she is so glad to have someone to talk to about this for once as she has had to keep it tight to her chest to not sound crazy.

"Well I guess I do, but it's not a power you can ever attain, but something I can help you with is that I can help you shut off your uncontrollable eyes of yours." I say pointing to her eyes which were glowing even though she was facing away from the sun while looking at me.

"Y-you can help me, fix this?" She said as she got even more teary eyed as she has wanted to turn this power off for so long now.

"Sure, but even if you turn off your 'Ghost Sight' with my help, it doesn't mean you have gotten free of that deal you made with that false 'god'" I say with a raised eyebrow which made her eyes widen in surprise that I even knew that.

"The jingling of those bells is what gave you away, it's not my first time hearing those bells so I know you made a deal with that false 'god' and if you can't see them I can, two fox like ghost women wearing traditional kimonos, and they appear when your in danger right?" I say which makes her eyes shake as what everything I was saying was true.

"For now I can only give you a temporary solution to your plight, only when you have rid yourself of the false 'gods' envoys that are here protecting you from all harm, I can't completely fix you or else you will put your friends and family in harms way." I say as I reach inside of my cardigan that I have over my shirt, secretly opening the store shop and making a purchase, before pulling my hand out and holding a folded glasses case before opening it and a pair of round rimmed glasses came out before I showed them to her.

In her eyes she could see many branching circuit like patterns across the rims of the glasses as she slowly took them from my hand as she looked them over.

"Now look toward the road over them, one of 'them' is standing there, after getting a hood look, put on the glasses and see if you can see them still." I say pointing to a rather mangled looking fellow who was just slowly trotting along who definitely looked like a spirit.

So she looked at it before putting on her new glasses and suddenly, it was gone, as if it was never there in the first place.

She put her hands over her mouth as tears flowed down from her eyes as her ghost sight was finally gone, well for now that is.

Joy filled her very being as she was the happiest she has ever been in a good long time as she jumped up and hugged me which surprised me greatly.

But I just calmed down and patted her back, 'Doing nice things for people is good for the soul.'
