If anything, Bob is probably falling under Rosanne's spell. He watches Rosanne's hair bounces as they leave the alley.
So they walk out to get to a subway station so they can get back to where Jack lives.
The busy noises and the bright LED signs on the New York City streets seem to disappear. Bob usually hear a lot of things from every direction because of his hyper senses. But he feels his whole attention is on Rosanne now. He tries to walk beside her. He sees that she has a very determined look on her face.
After they climb up stairs and come up to Jack's door, Nitte simply pushes the door open. Apparently she didn't even lock his door.
Inside, Jack is still lying on the floor on his back. He is mumbling and sweating.
"Here you go. This is your patient for you to treat, Rosanne." Nitte says.
Rosanne kneels down beside Jack, and she touches his forehead.
