I'm back

2 Weeks later.

Mio getting ready to go back to his dormitory when his brother barge in. He hold into his thigh tightly refusing to let go.

''Babyyy~ why not rest for another 1 week?"

His face literally screaming a puppy like expression. Mio was familiar with this kind of face, his brother used to throw tantrum when he's using this kind of expression on him.

*sighs*

"what's the point for doing this brother? "

"..for my baby"

"I heard from Murikawa-kun that you've been skipping work lately? "

"!!"

"That's not true! he's jealous that I have a cute little baby brother, that's why he lie to you"

'That Murikawa-kun bastard! he dare to taint my image in front of my baby. I'll deal with you later! '

In Reo's mind, he was begrudgingly cursing toward Murikawa and begin his plan for revenge later. Meanwhile in the office, Murikawa sneezed loudly causing the quiet office to be filled with his sound.

"Hmmmmmm, Reo-kun when are you going back? "

Murikawa have enough of Reo habit to give his work to him when his brother was free. Murikawa resigned himself, it's not that he didn't know Reo enough. They've been friend from child and considering his excessive love for Mio it's not that hard to guess Reo personality. Murikawa focus himself again.

"That's not an answer I expected brother "

"..then? "

Mio massage his temple, dealing with his brother was much of hassle up until now.

"I'm going back to school, it's bad to skip school and I have my tournament coming. Besides my injury also healed already"

"You can come to watch the game, I'll give you a heads-up when the times come "

"Really? "

"hmm"

Reo sulking face beamed after Mio promising him and coax him for a lil bit. Their father also knock on the door indicating that they need to leave now.

"Dear my head hurts"

When Mio's father come down he complains to his wife about Reo childishness. It's giving him a little headache.

"Let him be, it's not that he'll be like that all the time"

"I'm feeling sorry for Murikawa, that child have been tortured by Reo quite much and you can see that he work hard for the company "

"I'll tell our baby then, he can help us out "

The couple chat for bit more waiting for Mio and Reo. Then they heard a commotion descending from upstairs, it's none other than Reo fussing about something.

"Go back to the company "

"No! baby just let me join this time please. I'll promise to do my job properly after this"

Reo blinked, acting cute .

"If you break your promise I'll never going back home "

"but.. "

"I'll also stop updating to you"

"...fine"

Reo shoulder dropped from Mio's threat.

"We should go"

Mr Fujikawa and his wife look at each other and a small smirk formed on their face.

When Mio arrived in the dormitory, the dorm was empty. He tidied his belongings and head out to the coach office.

*knock knock*

"come in"

"It's me coach"

Coach kataoka look up and an elated face greet Mio.

'hmm, I must be crazy thinking the coach have this kind of facial face'

"So how's your injury? "

"I'm pretty much healed coach, I'm sorry causing the team an unnecessary trouble"

"You can practice in the bullpen tomorrow, Miyuki and the rest is discussing our strategy on the meeting room. We can head over together"

Mio was taken back by the coach sudden friendliness but choose to smile instead. He follow the coach and head over.

As soon Mio appeared behind the coach back Sawamura run after him and hold his hand which make the entire team to fell silent.

"You don't know how's practice lately flower boy! It taste tacky! No fun at all."

*flinched*

Sawamura feel a sharp glare behind his back but with his idiotic mind he keep babbling about his day without Mio.

"Eijun-kun...you like me that much? "

Mio sudden questions stop Sawamura loud voice and he follow Mio's gaze. His hand.

Sawamura throw away Mio's hand and stuttered.

" i-i..No! it's not what you think! Who like you?! it's just I'm elated you're back. That's all! "

Mio and the rest laugh off Sawamura reaction and they glance towards the coach that have been ignored.

"Ermmm, I guess I'm back? "

The senpais smile, they greet Mio and question him about his injury. Mio sit down next to Miyuki and the discussion start over again.

"Our opponents on the semifinal is Sensen academy. They was a powerhouse school that never leave the best 4 team on the west. We need to take notice especially their ace."

*nodded nodded*

"We will start strong with Tanba on that day, Tanba can you do it? "

All eyes on Tanba. The intense gaze toward him make Tanba's heart beat wildly.

"Yes, no I will do it "

Coach kataoka smile seeing Tanba determined gaze.

"Not just Tanba, all pitcher need to be ready for the game. I will relay pitcher whoever I deem suitable considering the pace of our match"

"HAI! "

The team studied their opponent before dispersing, murmurs and discussions outside the meeting room can be heard among the players.
