The Eldritch Witch...

"What are you? You didn't bleed from exhaustion, infact physically you do not seem weak. You may be a genius, but the moment you got out of your dream, your brain showed extreme stability. It is not something we can do. Who are you?", Ethan shook her vigorously.

"STOP IT!!!", Robert pushed Ethan away.

"Robert... you saw how..."

"Enough.. Don't make assumptions!!", Robert held Daisy's wrist, and pulled her away with him.

It was almost sunset time as they walked home from the testing centre. Around five hundred metres from home, Daisy suddenly nudged him.

"You carry on... I will like to go for a run."

"May I join?"

"If you can catch up with me", Daisy smirked before running away, in a speed no man could have.

Even though he was the best athlete in his age group, when he reached, she had got three different types of fruits in her hand plucked from the trees nearby. She sat on a low tree branch, holding four fruits in her hand.

"You are no doubt... Inhumane...!", Robert said, gasping.

"I also find myself weird..!!", Daisy smiled, a smile that didn't seem to reach her eye and offered him the fruits, he took one and sat beside her.

"Infact... We are all weird in our own ways. I am a warlock and hate showing my emotion... So I am also a misfit in this world. You are just a little more different than us."

"You are good at making people comfortable. But I knew I was one of you, I thought I was weird to that world, because I belonged here, but now it seems I don't even belong here.",Daisy took a deep breath.

"Are you okay?"

"I don't think so, but I wil be..", she smiled, before placing her head on his shoulders, she felt tired.

That sat in silence before they heard a shriek,"HELP!! ATTACK!!"

Daisy took off in the direction of the sound even before Robert could react.
