As expected, the five female demons shook slightly, spitting some blood and smiling bitterly.
The female demon who would usually take Hiro's place behind the bar counter was the first to snap back to her senses, speaking in a hoarse yet stable voice.
"We know how these young masters think, Sire Shopkeeper… So, we decided that we might as well indulge them a little…"
"What?!"
The young masters were both shocked and angry, feeling humiliated for some reason.
It's like when you beat your baby brother and feel happy about bullying him, only to find out later on that your baby brother allowed you to win for fear of accidentally killing you.
Their expressions turned unsightly, and without their urging, a few of the bodyguards walking around the bar came over.
Since their masters were unhappy, they had to help them vent. However, they were a little too weak, too slow.
