3 : THE RICH STRANGER

Inside the dark forest standing all alone with no trace of light, hearing all sorts of wild animals hungrily roaring angrily............! I groan in desperation looking everywhere for help but couldn't find a small hint of light.

I took off and started running screaming and shouting for help feeling every inch of pain striking my bare foot that was racing on stones and fallen branches of trees with all sorts of dangerous things that the forest contains.

Abruptly i stopped..... after sighting a black shadow like statue in front of me coming closer, as it came closer my view darkens and fades more and more and more.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh" I screamed my lungs out with my eyes closed

"Lubnah are you okay" I heard faintly while struggling to get my eyes opened

"Lubna!! Lubna!........

finally I my eyes swanged open while sitting up from my sleeping position to the voice I heard, turning around I met mufy's worried orbs on me her hands shaking me.

"Lubnah are you okay your sweating so bad, did you have a nightmare? She asked

Letting out a sigh of relief I exhaled slowly..........

"Yes I think I had a nightmare but I'm fine now" I looked back giving her a small reassuring smile

"You sure? She added worried while standing up

"Yes I'm sure" I answered checking the time, 4:30am yikes!

"Mufy why are you up so early? I couldn't help but wonder.

"school of course! I haven't finished my project so I got up earlier than usual to get it done before getting ready"

"Ooooh, alright then I think I'll pray tahajud and wait for fajir (early morning prayer) since I'm already awake"

I ended, getting the duvet off my legs making my way up, I headed straight to the bathroom to wash up.

Coming down to get breakfast together with mufy who was neatly dressed in her school uniform.

We headed to the dining room that looked so promising with the well arranged dishes displayed all over the table! Excusive!

Mufy dragged a chair out while I sat opposite her, upon sitting appropriately mufy's mother made her entrance with two maids backing her up

"Good morning" We all greeted her

"Morning girls" she answered cooly.

I won't say she like me or not I just can't seem to read her at all, but she's definitely nice to me.

Gently she spoke out

"Lubnah how was your night?

She said scooping some food herself.

Moving uncomfortably I spoke out

"It was good ma'am"

"Okay good! but don't call me ma'am again, what do you think people would say if you keep doing that, just address me casually like mufy does"

She concluded expressionless, I didn't even know if she was or wasn't angry?

"Okay I'll keep that in mind" I said

"I'm not scolding you! eat well okay"

She managed to put a small smile.

"Oh my gosh....................."

was what cut us off

"You guys I almost choked on my first bite because of your weird convo"

Mufy expressed

"Mom that was really strange you know" she concluded laughing.

Mom's gaze suddenly fell on mufy attacking her, she uttered

"you need sense! your still so childish eat up your meal and get going now, make sure you greet your dad, he's Going on a business trip today"

"Both of you" she ended while stuffing her meal.

"Okay" we answered.

Mom gestured for one of the maids, as she came closer while looking down she spoke

"Yes ma'am what would you like me to do for you"

She muched on her meal after sipping the orange juice she asked

"Where is the head chef ? Is everything going as prepared?

"Yes ma'am everything is going accordingly and the head chef is in the kitchen"

"Today is a really special day, don't mess up! everything has to be perfect"

"What has to be perfect??....... mufy cuts in.

"Shut up and eat...... this is a surprise, I can't tell ya"

Mom replied leaving mufy in so much thought.

Walking around the huge mansion appreciating the beautiful view I prayed time would just fly by fast inorder for mufy to be home it's been a long day.

I napped twice and couldn't again so here I am looking at the view coz I'm too bored.

I looked at the swimming pool area around the corner Walking slowly I arrived at the glass door leading to the pool side, opening the door i quietly slide my left foot in, hitting the cold tiles with my foot....... a cool breeze faned my face that instant, inhaling it deeper I dive more into the breeze feeling.

The tropical turquoise, classic light blue and the intense grey tones with a hint of blue/green water shining brightly under the bright sun looking beautiful and tasty! I squatted reaching for the water with my long fingers......... ahhhh finally it came in contact with the cool water causing me to genuinely smile due to the exciting and wonderful feeling.

I played and enjoyed my view for a while before making my way back to the house.

I plucked a sunflower from the garden on my way, as I was about to go in

I heard a siren sound mixed with a little bit of commotion automatically urging me to step back on my foot to have a clearer view of what's going on.

Three black costomized cadillac escalade came into the compound with sirens causing a choatic moment to the peaceful environment.

The first car made way for the middle one, while two body guards came down from the first car directing the second as to where it's suppose to stop.

Quickly they machted to the middle one making all the bodyguards from the third car rush down also.

As soon as it stopped the driver came out in a hurry to open the back door for the prestige guest i think, and all the body guards came covering my view I couldn't sight the person getting off the middle car that well.

I could only observe a tall guy figure wearing a p cap and a black face mask. he came out walking majestically with all the BG's surrounding him.

He held on for a minute as he spoke with them before he went on his way to the other side of the mansion which was a different huge apartment.

I wandered where that place could be a while a ago while viewing the whole house.

And I just realized earlier that the maids have been going to and fro of the other side..... it also reminded me of the surprise mom metioned earlier, was that surprise a guest?

Luckily I wasn't spotted by any one.

My mind going blank i asked myself who is he?.........
