"Humanity... is what you decided to call yourselves, of course." Her father shrugs, his ridiculous answer stunning Havvah and Ahdem.
"So… If we were that special, why didn't you bring us with you?" Havvah asks.
"Because the moment you two breathed your first air, I for the first time, felt that I have done something… right." Their father starts.
"Never have I felt it before, Approval. As for where that approval came from, I know not. What I hope however, is that it was due to something sentient. Something alive. Something so powerful that even I cannot fathom what it is. I just had to leave and chase it, hoping to catch a glimpse of it. Guess what?..." He pauses with a distant gaze.
Ahdem and Havvah wait, as they feel that their father is about to reveal.
"I caught a glimpse of it…"
This stuns Ahdem and Havvah.
"You did?" Ahdem cannot help but ask for himself and Havvah.
